After I gave up on Stephen Donaldson, I read a few of Ann McCafferty, *The Dragon Riders of Pern, among others. But i`m more into mysteries and thrillers. Jeffery Deaver, Ruth Rendell, Patricia Cornwall. But in my younger years, read, Mazo de La Roche, set in South Africa, Jeffrey Jenkins, Desmond Bagley, Colin Forbes , Dale Brown. can`t remember the names of the books. they are so numerous When you have lived among the police fraternity you tend to want to read books, about the dead. I Love the CSI series on tv, but I know the investigations take sometimes months, and years, not solved in 5 days..
Underbelly can`t be shown in Victoria, until after a certain court case, so people who would be picked to serve on the jury, don`t have any predjudice.

StephenDonaldson was one of my all time favourites, until the last series which was SO disappointing and like an insult to the memory of thomas covenant. and the Anne McCaffrey books were when i first fell in love with dragons, now I have several tattoos of them, brings back great memories. Yeah Pooks get into James Frey and let me know what you think. coming to ya from beautiful bali :)

And while I'm in Bali, has everybody read Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert? It's totally awesome and much as I hate to admit it, Oprah loves it too lol but it really is a great read, just wish it would happen for me, all I ever seem to be able to get right is the "eat"
