Posted: 5/4/2008 4:40:05 PM | Wow I would love to go for a camping weekend. It sure has been a long time. I moved in to an Apartment almost 3 years ago and sold all my camping gear. Gosh, I wish I never did. So either I have to see if I can borrow a friends or maybe some nice lady with a big enough tent would be willing to share. lol I still have a cooler and can bring my own food lol or are we all going to share and do pot lucks so to speak? Well I will be in Toronto till May 20th so when I get back I will look into things. I hope I can make it to this event. It would be fun for sure. | |

Posted: 5/4/2008 9:23:45 PM | Just a note to give you a suggestion on lighting....at one of our campouts we used a bunch of those torches that burn citronella.......gave us light plus kept the mosquitos away.....and it was kind of romantic to boot........ it was like we were on Survivor.......!!! And by gosh....we all survived!!!!..So if everyone just brought a couple of torches and a jug of citronella....you are good to go!!!!
Hope you all have a great time.... we are having a couple campouts here in southeast Alberta.....one on June 28 weekend in Taber..and one on July 25 weekend in Elkwater.....wish I could come to yours... Have fun!! | |

Posted: 5/19/2008 7:47:01 PM | I said I am going but my name isn't on list , if anyone knows anyone who has a chainsaw and wants some free wood please let me know ..2 short trees need to come down so i can get camper out...........they are about 14 feet tall and about 1.5 foot in diameter , not circumference they are trimmed down to bare trunk.........
