Posted: 4/30/2008 12:29:37 PM | | Just looked at the forecast, VS, on the MSN homepage and it says sprinkles for tomorrow, Friday AND Saturday!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Why??? WHY??? WHY???? I didn't go to the LAST one because of the weather! A girl's gotta care for her HAIR, y'know!!! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that if it IS going to rain, that it'll rain in the MORNING and that by the evening it'll clear up and we'll all have an awesome time! | |

Just grab something to cover the poor hair. As soon you walk into the bar. Have a drink. Then you will forget all about it!!!!
And if Nancy Doesn't show. Then VS will be really mad! VS Doesn't like to ever here POOR EXCUSES EVER

From smooth it gets all frizzy and it's like the 1970's all over again with the big azz afro! Trust me, it's NO LAME EXCUSE! And, I don't feel like PONY-TAILING it up after spending 2 1/2 hours of washing and setting it and putting it in curlers then blow-drying it and THEN finally straightening it with a hot iron!
You were blessed with the "wash 'n go" hair, so you wouldn't understand! "Women of color" don't have it so easy - I'm just sayin'.... | |

Posted: 4/30/2008 6:01:03 PM | Omg that is such an excuse! One of my best friend's is black. THE RAIN DOESNT STOP HER EVER so HAHA ..... AND OMG My hair isn't wash n go!!!!!! I WISH!!!!! I ALWAYS straightening it with a hot iron.... And when it rain's/humidity it becomes all frizzy and wavy all over the place.... That doesn't look good on me. But, my attutide always been. If you don't like it. You know where the door is! 
SO NANCY If you know it MIGHT RAIN the why not just do the PONY-TAILING it up instead.
So no need for a LAME EXCUSE

My "excuse" if that's what you want to call it, IS REAL and although I don't know your friend who's black, there are those who wear WEAVES and therefore rain, sleet, hail or whatever bad weather occurs truly DOESN'T affect them. But for ME - that's who we're talkin' about here, people - just me - the weather DOES affect it.
I really don't see what the big deal is. I didn't say I WASN'T going to come if it rained, I just wished it DOESN'T.
