You original post clearly leads anyone reading it that you have went out and dropped $250 on an outfit for a first time meeting that included bra / panties for their benefit.
I get the distinct impression that you really just wanted to put "Mr Spank the Monkey" in his place and that's okay but your justification seems a little "off".
Personally it sounds to me like you enjoy dressing up to the "9's" and that's great but clearly you have no need in doing that for a "first time meeting".
FYI...
On a first time outing I wear jeans, a nice top, make sure I have a clean shave, showered etc. and smell nice. Just like I do everyday as the last thing I want to do is wear a double breasted suit and appear as though this is my everyday look, I want to ensure the impression I give is "who I really am". If the outfit you are describing is your everyday look then I would suggest not putting it on the table as your "first date cost".
