Posted: 7/7/2008 2:04:19 PM | Hi all if your interested in the Niangua River NRO here's their web site http://www.nrocanoe.com/ But I must warn you all that it is the Meremec River twin sister river to the south.It is full of loud Obnoxous beer bonger rafters you could walk from on raft to another raft with out even getting you feet wet. Thats how bad it can be and NRO is just another Big huge crouded river out fitter.if you want to stay at a more of a laid back place try Mountian Creek Camp ground its a small camp ground run by this nice young couple http://www.mountaincreekcanoes.com/ they don't have free camping but they realy deserve your buss. and you'll never be crouded there and its not even as loud and obnoxous as the camper's at NRO.
Well I go in for surgery tommorow morning I hope that I don't need any pins and screws.Thank you everyone for your concern And i was so much looking forward in meeting everyone especially couple of the woman that are going LOL.Well you all have a great weekend and make sure you all take plenty of photo's so I can see what I missed

extension cords and splitters and surge bars so we can plug bunches into each one..
Hi Lauri. This is Sam. I'm the wierd guy you just talked to on the phone that can't post on your forum because I just signed onto pof.com.
I'm driving into KC to my chiropractor tomorrow, but will proceed on Wednesday to get all of my gear dusted off, get my truck ready for the trip,, check to see if the trailor's ok as well, and start putting up some food.
I don't think I'll be bringing a single kayak along unless I hear back from you that someone might need it. It's just to much extra hassel bringing along a boat that no one uses. Instead I'll likely bring my solo canoe, just because this is an easy float, and it'll hold a huge ics chest plus lawn chairs, lol.
I may however, bring along my tandem kayak too, just in case there is someone left all alone, no partner, no boat, and a tandem would work better then a sinlge. Just not sure yet, so let me know if there is any specific need, k?
For food, I'll try to bring mini carrots and dip, some chips, and possibly a cantalope, celery, and peanut butter (crunchy of course, lol.
I'll be planning on arriving Friday, and leaving Sunday.
BTW, do you know if anyone is interested in getting out again early Sunday, and doing a second float, before heading out for the day? Just curious, but once you're there, it's easy to get in a second trip. About 6-miles, expecially given the current water levels, should be rally easy to do in half a day.
This might be a more likely option for the folks who have their own boats, and can shuttle themselves.
OK then:
bug spray
ear plugs
propane grill (for meals other than sat night)
ext cords, outlet boxes, splitters.
Extra batteries
waterproof camera boxes
towels
extra paddles, tie downs, life jackets/cushions.
just thinking out load of a couple of things to remember.
Please let me know if there's anything else you might need that I could help with, k?

Sorry. But if possible, you might try find a way post that I'll be going, and see if there is someone who might need a partner, and would like to ride in my boat? If so, I'll definately bring the tandem, and we'll both save the rental fees.
