I had a great time last night. I think we should have a host appreciation day, or at least buy them a beer. I don't know how many connections were made last night, but I got to meet several of the people from here. I did notice that as the party got older, the crowd got younger.
Did anyone get a final count? I didn't think there were as many people there as were signed up.

I did enjoy meeting everyone (some for the 2nd time) and glad to have been a help to our wonderful host, Kirk and co-hostess, Cathy. The last time I counted the people who checked in we had 91 ..alot who had not signed up ahead of time. So you can see all are welcome. I have to say it is a pleasure to meet so many friendly and warm people! Look forward to the next event..my vote is in for Martel's Tiki maybe mid June!! Let me know if you need help again. Ang  | |

Posted: 5/18/2008 2:04:17 PM | You did a great job Kirk, Kathy, Dave, and Angela. As far as the speed dating goes, hope all enjoyed it, and realize it was a first try. Kathy and I tried to set things up at first age-wise, but there were so many, and we had people waiting. Lots more of one age group than the others. We learn from each experience, so the next one will be better.
All in all though, it was a great time, and looks like everyone had a blast!

I was not going to be there as a friend had backed out and I was uneasy with going alone. I then hooked up with Kimba before getting there and it worked out great. It was very comfortable and got to really meet a lot of wonderful people.
To Cathy and JJ - thanks, it was a pleasure meeting you both. You are right, it was a piece of cake!! I will talk to anyone who doesn't want to go it alone!
To Kim - it was nice getting to know you and I look forward to going to future POF parties with you.
To Kirk, Cathy and all the others who made this party a success - Wonderful Job!!! (it might be tough topping this one... but hey, you got the rest of the summer to beat it and possibly the TIKI will do it) Can't wait to see pictures!
To Jim - thanks for the offer... I made it home safely.
To King - I think I found your sock... *giggle*
