The Essential Guide to Courting a Male Geek

Always welcome debate with you Tiger at least I know when we don't agree we are still at least hearing the other :) feel free to toss a mail if you like.

My point wasn't that I discourage geeks or others from reaching out to find their potential in other areas. More that sometimes they don't manifest in areas that gain additional social growth. One should always be encouraged to grow themselves and to seek their potential and try to expand it, however one should not be berated for being who they are either. There are many geeks out there who will never have the ability as you did to become geek/jocks. They may well be musician/geeks, or dancer/geeks or well you get the idea.

Geeks don't know they are geeks and many of them are cheap, snide and self-inflated in terms of their egos. In other words, ppl are ppl no matter how you label them.

Im such the art and computer geek :P

Ladies, we require love, attention and caffeinated beverages. Keep that in mind and your geek with flourish under your care and provide you with years of fulfillment.

Great post pr0x

There was a problem with Geek back in beta. It was corrupted by bullyware and made to seem a background process by Jockbot and Coolkid Alpha. However the new release of Geek 2.008 with the social 2.0 patch and an enhanced userfriendly environment with online capabilities will meet all your functionality needs. There are a massive amount of skins for Geek 2.008 meaning your own personal Geek is surely out there. With time patience and after reading the user manual you might be able to customize your Geek as well. While the core code is hardwired to the system you might be able to update it with gym.exe, the latest release of the haircut process, and perhaps a tan script to have a more appealing, healthier and longer lasting Geek. :P

"Geeks don't know they are geeks and many of them are cheap, snide and self-inflated in terms of their egos. In other words, ppl are ppl no matter how you label them. "

You always have to watch out for the jaded and self destructive ones, I have met many women who fit that as well. However I do believe from experience that they are in the minority, and with careful selection and a keen eye you can spot the true gems.

I am sitting here laughing my ass off. I have gone back and read the last several pages, and it seems that there is a growing misconception that geeks lack social or intellectual balance. If you remember my first post I talk about compartmentalization and the geek. I myself am an avid tech geek. However, I am also an accomplished shootist, climber, and amateur chef. Granted many of us here could spend hours discussing random memes and singing along to Lemon Demon songs or quoting Monty Python, but many of us who could do that are also living lives that are full and rich.
Insecurity, obsession, and other quirks are human conditions, and are not exclusive to geeks. In fact, most geeks are more in touch with their feelings and/or intellectualize their issues and work past them. It is far more likely that your average geek has a balanced outlook on life than your average type A personality so stress they are going to have wrinkles and neurosis by age 40.

Next time you should just tell the guy what your hourly rate is up front instead of leaving it to his discretion.

i personally think geek is someone who is good at something, let it be car geek, computer geek, sport geek or whatever..

if you are not geek. you are not good at anything.
