Couldnt get any decent hotels so will leave it till another time.

I cannot understasnd why you could not find a decent hotel as i live not far from the normandy and could name at least 7 decent hotels all with different price ranges....
these glasgow meets and more importantly all the hosts have given people the opportunity to indulge in social activity, and ultimately have given people a lot of pleasure, which was not present prior to joining "POF"....
i would expect someone from any given area to be as helpful as possible, in terms of assisting potential attendee's in finding out relevant information in relation to a meet....
in any walk of life free speech is paramount, and being helpful and courteous cost's nothing, therefore it should be greeted with appreciation....and not making hosts or otherwise feel inferior or liable for not responding to every query.... | |

The reason we decided to organise this night was because we were planning on going and thought there must be others who would enjoy this kind of night but may have no one to go with.
This is the first time we have hosted a meet and we have had to deal with a very unhelpful hotel.
It may turn into a micro meet rather than a mini one but we plan to have a great night. | |

A social calender that consists of variety such as, Abba tribute night, Cowboy themed night, Fancy dress, Rock nights, Glasgow tour, Pyjama night, and a Grand summer ball, As well as other meets that have taken place, Should be seen as a major success story....
Lets hear it for all the Glasgow hosts, And the people who attend these nights, Which are always a roaring success, According to the pictures and comments posted after the meet has taken place....

Posted: 5/13/2008 4:40:10 AM | I have been to 3 fish nights in Glasgow now and they have all been great fun and I plan to go to a few more. I think the pictures and especially the Madness video show others what good nights these are. I'm sure out of all the events planned this summer, people will find one that suits them. My friend and I are thinking of a ghost tour one in Stirling later on in the year followed by the pub of course. Just think its good to try something different and give people the choice to join in and not feel because there single, there an outcast and cant socialise. | |

And hey given that it's a dating site maybe some further connections can happen for people of all ages, That in itself is the ultimate goal for individuals that otherwise may not have thought possible....
So keep up the good work, And I hope all events that are taking place are as successful as the previous ones.... | |
