That happened to me aswell! I was not impressed! Sooo if a guy whipped it out, i have no idea how i would react; wouldnt be a good reaction thats for sure.

| Whipping it out on the first date? Posted: 4/25/2008 5:25:34 PM | I will never understand why a guy would act like this on a first date ....I mean, okay maybe 1 out of 10 times you get some action. The rest of the time you go home alone. Now ..if you just waited and remained a respectful person for a few dates ..you might actually get some action ....that would continue for months to come.
So weird. I do like some of the previous responses though ..and will add them to my collection of responses.

| Whipping it out on the first date? Posted: 4/26/2008 11:59:28 AM | I can't understand why a guy would whip it out on a first date. Seriously! It's guys like that that make women think that most guys are creepy. This actually happened to an acquaintance of mine once. A guy took her to a Christmas party. Afterward, they briefly stopped at his house (with NO expectations on her part, believe me) and the guy just whips it out and starts taking care of himself right in front of her!
She covered her eyes and didn't watch. He finished and then drove her home. From then on we called that guy Weird Patrick. He was a regular customer where we worked together, but he never came in again after that. Thank god.
I think a good rule of thumb is this: if the woman wants to see it on the first date, she'll tell you or do the unzipping herself. Otherwise, keep it in your freaking pants and stop being an embarrassment to males everywhere! :-)

| Whipping it out on the first date? Posted: 4/26/2008 12:31:33 PM | Once on a third date this girl gave me a lap dance at this club and it was so "steamy" that the owner or an employee came over to tell us "this isn't a motel." Finally we left and started making out in her car, and then she gave me head. No joke.
This was last yr.
I never called her again though b/c right after she gave me head she talked about being my g/f and I got weirded out.

I represent the bulls*it police...
I'm going to need a name, number and at least 4 photographs to confirm your story before I accept it as anything other than folklore.

Um... I guess you're joking, but no, it really DID happen. She was really into me, I guess. It's funny because like 4 months after this I found her on myspace and messaged her. She remembered me and told me she just moved in with her boyfriend of 3 months. So i was right, she did seem pretty desperate.
And after that one night , she texted me asking if I wanted to hang with her and her friends. I just said "sorry no, it's me and my girlfriend's anniversary that night" LOL.
I think if i said that to her in person she would've kneed me in the balls.

| Whipping it out on the first date? Posted: 4/26/2008 1:42:25 PM | Yeah, I have had this happen, actually the last date I had about 8 months ago. Cooled my jets on dating for a good long time. But then again he had sprung for appetizers and 2 glasses of wine so I`m sure he felt entitled to whip it out.
After this, there is no second date.

Well, I'd give him benefit of the doubt if it was an unseasonably warm day and he was wearing wool pants...also, if he were a much older man and assumed (because I'm younger) that I'd appreciate an amusing game of peek-a-boo...I'd let it slide.
If he waggled it at me with lust in his eyes, I'd probably just expect him to pick up the tab for dinner. lol
The amount of self confidence this sounds like it would require makes it seem like a vary liberating experience for an introverted guy. I think I would do it a lot differently though. While watching a movie or having a coffee at starbucks or whatever, just try to go for a quick n quiet 'repositioning' to outside of the pants, then just let it air out in silence. If she flips out screaming "OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?! WTF IS THIS! WHERE IS MY TASER!" then just act like I was oblivious to the inappropriateness of my behavior, saying "wow, sorry about that. I didn't realize I was out in the open like that. I should have guessed why I could feel a breeze all of a sudden" and then continue watching the movie or drinking coffee as if nothing happened. But really though, it sounds like if the date was already going badly, it's usually a no-loss situation (except perhaps for one's dignity), unless of course there is a no nonsense country girl around.

This to me is an interesting concept how guys view things like this as confidant. A guy on another thread was trying to explain to the OP why a guy drove her straight to a motel on the first date. He told her he was just very self confidant. This isn`t confidant. This is arrogant/obnoxious/aggresssive/disrespectful. Nothing confidant about behavior like this. I just don`t understand why improper behavior would be considered confidant.

| Whipping it out on the first date? Posted: 4/28/2008 11:35:27 AM | | It has happened to me many times, and it is disgusting. I try to pretend nothing out of the ordinary has happened and keep the conversation going, making a mental note to never see the creature again. If he gets aggressive, I tell him I'm tired/sick and ask him to leave. | |

| Whipping it out on the first date? Posted: 4/28/2008 12:28:04 PM | Soooo, not ONE person in this thread has ever been on a first date with someone where it's gone so well, where there is so much MUTUAL attraction, that things just get raw and Discovery Channel physical?
Amazing.
I've done it. Many times. I wasn't slapped and I managed to get as many dates as I wanted afterward, unsurprisingly.
OWN your sexuality. I guarantee you will be happy, if not happier.

| Whipping it out on the first date? Posted: 4/28/2008 12:47:38 PM | | I believe that Bill Clinton used to have lots of success with this particular dating move. We should ask him about the ratio of BJ's to hard slaps. Or lawsuits. Since you can't really slap the Governor. | |
|
| Whipping it out on the first date? Posted: 4/28/2008 2:19:37 PM | No. But then I never let a man see me outside of a public place on a first date. So he'd probably get arrested for indecent exposure! | |

Would you laugh if a guy pulled his thumb out of his zipper in the car and you mistook it for his thing?
Abso-freakin-lutely! If I was 12 years old.

I was just watching that episode of Seinfield where a guy whips out his salami on Elaine for their first date. Has anything like that ever happened to any women here? Yup
If it did happen what would you do? I believe the situation was thus... *gets up to leave...tosses hair over shoulder and glances back with a smirk*...
