| ADMIN: Can't view profiles - registration page appears instead of prof
Posted: 6/26/2008 10:29:12 AM | | The settings on my computer and browser are exactly the same now as they were BEFORE this problem cropped up. So my question is............ why all of a sudden do I have to jump through hoops to view profiles after the third one? It seems rather strange that this began happening out of the blue and I'm sure there are many others like me who never made any changes before or after the problem started. So why are we expected to go to the lengths suggested here in order to view more then 3 profiles before getting the log in screen? Seems to me the problem lies somewhere within the website and not with thousands of users computers. If there were a fee involved in this, I would have been gone a long time ago. | |

Posted: 7/13/2008 5:17:02 PM | Yes, the registration page issue happened to me (again) this afternoon.
Also, the exact same thing that happened last weekend has reared it's ugly head again...
No one is showing up online, either on My Matches, My friends, or Viewed Me, but the forums are still working. It would be nice if Admin or a Mod would post some small explination as to why the meltdowns are occuring, Please....
To Admin and Mods: I have also used both FireFox and IE and cleared cookies both on the browsers settings and using CCleaner. I also did as you requested in message #35 and does not make one bit of difference.
These glitches only started happening the past 2 to 3 weeks, and is widespread, which tells me that it is not a user problem, but a server problem (maybe your server needs to delete it's cookies!) 
Prior to this, I never had to worry about clearing cookies or what type of browser I was using.....
Other than what has been happening lately, POF is a Terrific Site, Kudos to you all and hope you can work through the problem. | |

Posted: 7/28/2008 9:45:14 AM | It warms your heart to see that a problem that's been going on for over 3 months, still exists and management/moderators haven't done anything to rectify it other then try to say it's a problem on the users end.

| No one said its not at this end. What has been posted are Solutions to the Problem. Whether it will be permanently fixed sometime would be best left for Admin for Comment/ Ticketoride |

The fact is nothing has been said. The posted "solutions" have not and do not work. They never did work. And if the Admin and/or Ticketoride hasn't posted any comments in nearly 3 weeks, I'd say it's a safe bet the problem will never be fixed. | |
