See you at 10am at the bell tower. That should give us enough time make it to freo before noon at leisurely pace.
If anyone is not keen to make the return journey, I am informed that there is no problem taking your bike on the train back to the city. So if people are unsure about making the entire distance there and back, come along for the ride to freo and decide when you get there.

Sounds like a great idea and it's a shame I can't do the ride... :-( but Timbo_perth mentioned it to me and so i thought id check out the forum.. sounds like you're having a few "non riders" so i'l try and get down to little creatures for a drink too, if thats ok? 
Would be good to meet you all.
What time are the none riders meeting at little creatures??

Posted: 5/15/2008 6:03:10 AM | ah you definately can catch the train back from freo but as we going via the river if you get tired you will have to catch a taxi as trains are on the other side of the river i.e claremount, mosman park, cot etc
meanwhile we aim to be in freo by 12ish but we cant gurantee....see ya all soon | |

Posted: 5/15/2008 11:52:46 PM | I was actually supposed to meet some relatives in freo tonorrow, and thought I might stop in at the micro brewery and say hi!, but its been put off til next Sunday, so I won`t be joining you now , either..
and there arent any guys on my match lists that said they were attending so......
I don`t ride bikes, mountain bikes etc, as they don`t make the seats wide enough for my posterior.....    | |

Posted: 5/17/2008 2:50:48 AM | Those of you who made it for the ride... thanks.. i trust you all had a great time...i did...cycling along the swan is the best, and those of you who made it to Litt;le creatures...well done....we really ought to enjoy Perth, especially the outdoors as it has got so much to offer... on that note will be organising a BBQ and perhaps a fishing trip in June...keep you posted...

I got up this morning & put the bike in my car & drove down to the Belltower,all ready to ride to Freo.
Got there at 10 got a coffee & waited
& waited
& waited
at 1045 I swore a lot, then rode around the Swan river, trying to avoid all the canines that were towing their owners, (Millions of Paws day)
I went home & read the paper & realised today is the 18th , DOH
So I must apologise to all of you for my profanities & give you all permission to bust my chops when I do finally meet up with you guys.
I hope the 17th was a great ride & lunch for you all
I never cease to amaze myself with my stupidity
