| What Tragic Daggy Songs are on your Ipod ? Posted: 4/29/2008 6:57:16 AM | I love the 70's, so my MP3 is full of songs from the 70's. But since I insist on playing it and nothing else every time we go anywhere in the car, I have to put some songs on that will appease the kids. It 2gb so have around 300 odd songs now. I have everything from Cat Stevens to Meatloaf, with some Melissa Etheridge, Cher, even some songs from Phantom of the Opera, John Cougar Mellancamp, John Paul Young, White Snake, Most daggy would have to be • Michael Murphy – Wildfire • Steps – Deeper Shade of Blue, 5678 (kids one) • Bob Carlisle – Butterfly Kisses (sweat but daggy) • Abba – to many to mention (kids again) • The Defranco Family – It’s a Heartbeat (it’s a love beat) (unfortunately that ones for me) • Flying Purple People Eater (recently replaced with Cotton Eyed Joe) (kids again) • Aqua – I’m a Barbie girl (4 girls what can I say) | |

My real musical taste is somewhat akin to julianx's, I like Architecture in Helsinki
An aside... I once said to a lovely Spanish girl I was dating that she was "a dag" When I met with her the next day, after she had looked "dag" up in the dictionary. She walked straight up to me & gave me the biggest slap on the face, declaring "I'm not a piece of shit on a sheeps bum".
BTW... Al Stewart did "Year of the Cat" not Al Green

| What Tragic Daggy Songs are on your Ipod ? Posted: 4/29/2008 9:19:57 PM | I don't have an Ipod so until now I felt far too inadequate to even peek into this thread ...but now that I have, I was reassured to read that some other people don't have Ipods either. Yay. For a moment there I thought I was gonna have to relive the turmoil and social angst of grade 3 all over again...I was the only one who didn't have a Baby Alive doll. The shame of it all. | |

Ummm . . I don't have any daggy ones . . they're all good! Pookie . . 'Fly Robin Fly' ? ? . . . memories? Death Cab For Cutie - 'I Will Follow You Into The Dark' is pretty good, I thought.

| What Tragic Daggy Songs are on your Ipod ? Posted: 4/30/2008 7:36:42 AM | Geez I am getting so many songs now I need 2 iPods just to carry them all. Daggy songs, too many to name them all! Especially that 80's music.
But hey there is no shame right? Play them loud and proud whereever you are!
The volume has gotta go up in the car when Mi-Sex, the Machinations. the Vapors or Robert Palmer come on.
And should I even dare to say it, why the heck not, even the infamous Milli Vanilli is in there somewhere (and not just one track either!)

| What Tragic Daggy Songs are on your Ipod ? Posted: 5/2/2008 12:06:10 AM | Ipods are ok, my daughter has one, I don't have one & would never get one for myself. I would much prefer a Creative Zen, or anything that wasn't Apple, more versatile The worst thing about an Ipod is that damn i-tunes, bloody resource gobbler.
As far as dag go's Mac Davis - Baby don't get hooked on me, Rick James - Superfreak & The Association - Windy

| What Tragic Daggy Songs are on your Ipod ? Posted: 5/3/2008 7:53:23 PM | Ok ultimate dag song heard on my ipod at 3.11am this morning...and the tragedy was that I was mentally singing along to it....
"500 miles"...by The Proclaimers
"I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more, just to be the man that walks a thousand miles to fall down at your door."......alalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala sung in board Scottish accent.
And if you are a fan of the show "How I met your mother" you may remember that this is the song that was on the tape that was stuck in Marshall's car during the Ted and Marshall road trip........how much do you detest this song ??? 807 plays later
In your head now isnt it......................
"I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more, just to be the man that walks a thousand miles to fall down at your door."......alalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala
Avocado...tell the kids to ditch itunes..a total ripoff and download Limewire ..its free and works with their ipod and all the music they want is there.
