Posted: 4/30/2008 8:35:25 PM | This is one of the reasons why I am putting alittle more emphasis on the gfs mothers act in this. As it appears, many of the above posters seem to be only putting the total blame on him and almost totally ignoring his gfs mother. My other posts on here, also this one, try to avoid a double standard and focuc the blame on BOTH the Op and his gfs mom, for their stupid act.
Also as I said earlier, the older you are the more you should know, and the less excuse their is for doing stupid things, so thats why I put the greater blame on the gfs mom in this case. She is probably a miserable prick in her 40's thinking she is in her "sexual prime" and all that B.S. garbage, and therefore sees that as an excuse to do stupid acts and who knows if she currently is married or not. If she is, then her husband is yet another victum of this. She deserves to get whatever she gets from him for this sick act of betrayel!! As far as I'm concerned, he will deal with her as he seems fit and thats that.
BUT I must say, as I think more and more people seem to be realizing this more as the thread is going on, that......I really am getting the feeling that this is all a made up story that was simply posted a month too late (April fools was on April 1st OP lol) .
But ultimately, shame on both of them for this....again, if it's true that is. | |

Posted: 5/1/2008 7:19:44 AM | hey everyone sorry i been awhile to post but i was looking for cheap rates on flights out of North America :)....to answer a few people's questions my GF is 22 & her mom is 40 yes i kind of put myself in a bind here but what can i say her mom is a hottie for her age and i'm one for the mature ladies, i just hope that my gf who ive been with for 6 months now isnt pregnant as well, i am defintely not here looking for sympathy just advice on what to do in the situation, I appreciate everyones feedback on this matter and even the bad ones but s@#$ people we all make mistakes in life

I am totally torn between 2 reactions:
Reaction 1:
He sleeps with his g.f.'s mom without contraception! (not smart)
She sleeps with her daughter's b.f. (less smart) without contraception! (ummm...)
Now he's worried about whether the g.f. is pregnant also.
That would make kid number 1, kid number 2's uncle/aunt AND half-brother/half-sister.
Hey, hopefully g.f. will take the only form of revenge that would truly be just deserts, and sleep with ChArGeR69's father, and get pregant again.
The whole family can spend the next ten years together at X-mas, just trying to figure out their family tree! Just addressing the X-mas presents will be a brain-teaser! Mother's and Father's Day in the ChArGeR69 household, reality TV at its best!
Reaction 2: In all seriousness, judgment does not appear to be the strong suit here. You go after your g.f.'s mom. (Bad judgment.) She is receptive. (Worse judgment.) No contraception, (umm...), result: conception. In fairness, this is NOT what you call "a mistake". That is pretty understated as a description of what went on here.
I am presuming your g.f.'s mom is not married, especially not to your g.f.'s father. If she is, I hope for your sake he does not own any firearms.
At this point, you need to ask the mom what her decision is about keeping the child, because that is her decision, not yours.
If she is going to carry the child to term, in the child's interest, adoption might well be a better idea, because this particular child's parents have not exactly displayed a lot of good judgment or responsibility to date.
At a BARE minimum, if she keeps this child, you have a financial responsibility for this child's well-being at least until s/he is an adult, and you should live up to that.
If you remain in this child's life, in it's mother's life, and in it's half-sister's life, a convenient fiction with regard to this child's male parentage might be in order.
The fact that this child would then presumably have to deal with this very uncomfortable truth at some later time would also be a serious problem. | |

Posted: 5/1/2008 8:39:12 AM | Since reading OP's post above....inasmuch as he has returned, I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt.....no bashing, no admonishing....what's done is done.
But, if I were to give any advice at all....and, there is a pregnancy, "mom" has the final decision, and, if the pregnancy goes ahead, then both of their responsibility is to the baby.
If there's no husband involved, then maybe the "mom" and "dad" should make the decisions together...keeping in mind what's BEST for the baby.
However, if it were up to me to decide, and I was the gf....I'd get out of the picture ASAP, because I could never trust him again.
Mistakes...Yes, but, sometimes we have to live with our mistakes...and, maybe it brings on maturity.
