| Stand up comedians Posted: 5/13/2008 5:00:58 PM | Dave Allen David Baddiel Jimmy Carr Dara O'briain Sean Locke Peter Kay..... Although like was said before, time for some new stuff Mr Kay!!!!
Also is it just me but I cannot stand Ricky Gervais. I thought both the Office (Most overated "Comedy" ever) and his stand up routines, were rubbish.
Then again I never liked friends, can't stand beer and hate Hot/Spicy foods but millions love it. Must have lost that gene along the way.

| Stand up comedians Posted: 5/13/2008 5:20:07 PM | As a double act & not particularly stand up Pete Cook & Dudley Moore as Derek & Clive. Dave Spikey (jerry st clair in phoenix nights) is outstandingly good at stand up. Toby Foster (drummer from les alanos in phoenix nights) is on a par with Spikey....Kay nicked the majority of his material from these 2. Andy Kaufman (lakke from Taxi & also played by Carey in man on the moon) totally unique & not got by the majority of americans....also his alleged alter ego Tony Clifton....brilliant. Billy Connolly. Jim Jefferies. And the king of them all truly was Bill Hicks...RIP. | |
