Posted: 5/13/2008 6:19:47 PM | WE NEED THE FOLLOWING AT THIS TIME PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO WE CAN TAKE WHAT YOUR BRINGING OFF THE LIST:
salads--the girl bringing a bunch is not coming now so we need more
deserts--we only have my daughters cookies coming now cause those also bringing deserts are not showing up with their deserts and ill have her make a cake also and brownies.
buns--im bringing dogs and polish and so is jasonsdad as far as i know since i asked him warmnsuni is brings brauts and some buns but we need more dog buns and warrior is bringing burger so we need burger buns also
baked beans--we only have one pot coming now and that is what yona is brining so anyone feel free with bringing some also
bags of chips--there are 4 or 5 coming as of now and dips but im sure they will get ate if anyone brings anymore
10 lbs potatoes--foil--butter--onions--i thought we'd have onions and potatoes in foil also so we may need butter and onions for that...im bringing onions and seasonings for those also....we have 2 bags of potatoes coming so one more might be ok
was anyone else interested in the DJ music that was offered to be brought for our listening enjoyment....IM GAME IF ANYONE ELSE IS! most places are ok with it but not after 10pm for quiet hours.
steve(enchanting) are you working on the activities like you said someone should we have horse shoes coming ----i have lots of fishing equipment coming with me----a soccer ball we can use for volleyball if there is a net set up there somewhere
if anyone else has any other ideas on food and activities let us know and we will go from there....thanks for everyones help and participation
OK WARRIOR KEEPS HINTING I NEED TO GIVE DIRECTIONS ON HERE SO I WILL ...THANKS FOR THE HINTS WARRIOR....LOL
Directions: IN Rogers Turn east at the intersection of 2nd and Locust in Rogers. Travel east to the campground, following signs on HWY 12 for 4 miles, then turn left on North Park Road take Highway 12 east to Prairie Creek and turn left at the brown sign which says Prairie Creek Recreational Area towards the boat ramp and campground. After you pass the guard shack and pay your entry fee, travel straight into the park but take the first left roadway. You will see the Overlook Pavilion on your right as you approach the lake. The Park Attendants have maps of the park and can give you instructions. It has been reserved in the name of POF/NWA Singles i have no idea what time we are allowed to start congregating at the pavillion but ill be at camp site 51 as of friday afternoon in a big tent and a green van ...if its not there im somewhere else.....lol! if these directions are not as clear as mud let me know.

Posted: 5/13/2008 8:56:07 PM | The directions are fine but I did not see a sign depicting North Park Road. Maybe it blew down or maybe I was just blind. It is right past and across from the Arrowhead Boat Sales place. I have been working 14 hour days so I have been way too busy to keep up with all this. Is there anyone coming from Clarksville area that can give a ride?
I would ask everyone to not spend too much on this. It should be sugfficient to bring something which is enough to feed 6-8 people. If everyone does that there should be sufficient food. Guys all know they are supposed to bring meat items so guys showing up without bringing what they should will be asked to run back to Harps or supply cash enough to buy what we need. I will bring some cheese/sausage dawgs and a package of Tysons Chicken filets
My camp site was bumped back to #41 for the third time. It is irritating to say the least! They keep moving me farther from the pavilion and I am expecting the next time they call me I will be moved somewhere outside of the park. | |

I'm planning on bringing my digital camera so we can take pic's, I've also got an
ice chest I'm bringing but I'll be sticking all the pop in it, Pepsi is giving us can's for
this event.
If they keep moving you back away from the pavillion and your using a tent you
can throw it on my spot if it's big enough. I haven't been out there to check it
out, but they haven't moved me as far as I know. We'll just have to figure out
where to put all the cars. Jamar (Sharon) and I both will have a car on my spot
also. Not sure how you'd deal being camped on the same spot with 2 women and
a child. Anyone got any prozack just incase?
Also if anyone doesn't feel comfortable finding the park, or gets lost you can email
me before you leave home and I'll send you my cell number and run back into town to meet you and let you follow me back. Just let me know before you leave because I don't have forwarding on my email. Once I'm there my cell phone is all I'll have. | |

I am scared to depend on anyone for a ride and make all that food and have it go to waste.
I threw in the towel on this event I hate to get my hopes up again.
When are you going and when are you coming back?
How much room will you have?

i have space for another tent on my camp site also if anyones interested and needs to pitch one and i have abig 10 person tent with 2 people in it....hang in there ya'll today is hump day we are almost there....yee haw...lol

unless you want something different then listed below. But this is what I got from
the people at Pepsi.
1 case Pepsi 24oz bottles
1 case Mt Dew 24oz bottles
12 bottles diet Pepsi 24oz
12 bottles diet Dew 24oz
12 cans Sierra Mist
Also I invited 2 single guys from Pepsi I used to work with, so they might
show up as well!!
