Everything about Expelled is pure fiction. Dawkins and the other real scientists featured in the movie expose the truth behind the propaganda on their website: www.expelledexposed.com

Nah, I don't think Dawkins would make as much money if he converted to theism. Theists are just too apathetic to spend money unless the name Rick Warren is on the product. Dawkins knows where his honeypot is.

ID did not come from religion, it was coined by scientist who study physics. Including string theory. Religion just got hold of it.

Guys like Dawkins tend to be atheist always argue a religious point, personally, I do not know how religion explains a G-d.

There are 100 million stars in the Milky way, possibly over 50 million Galaxies or more. All started from a pinprick of sound in a vast space of nothingness. Where did that energy come from. How can sound exist without some substance like air or water to transfer that energy. Unless sound is the creating force to create substance. And all of this just seemed to just...happen...haphazardly. I don't think so.

So if Dawkins can make a buck out of this, then hes welcome to it.

Most christians believe, quite arrogantly I think, that this universe was created with humanity in mind. If this is true, then why would god make the universe so freakin' large and with trillions of stars and countless other cool stuff? The fact we can see stars that are 14 billion light years away is mind-blowing!

pappy009,
The ID Movement did come from religion and this was proven beyond any reasonable doubt in the Dover Trial. Research the origin of the phrase "cdesign proponentsists."

Also, I don't think you quite understand the science behind The Big Bang Theory. The Law of Conservation of Matter tells us that matter can't be created so all the matter in the universe already existed in some form. And the speed and trajectory of all the celestial bodies tells us they all came from the same starting point. I don't know why you're referring to sound. I don't think there was any literal sound being suggesting in The Big Bang. But what you describe as a "pinprick" was actually all the matter in the universe compressed into a singularity. Also, you use the word energy incorrectly as a noun and ask where it came from. Energy is only a word we use to describe the measurement of work. (Energy = mass x speed of light squared) So your question doesn't really make much sense: "Where did that [measurement of work] come from. How can sound exist without some substance like air or water to transfer that [measurement of work]." There's also nothing haphazard or accidental being proposed. And finally, Dawkins is an evolutionary biologist, not an astrophysicist, so I don't think he's making any money out of teaching The Big Bang Theory except incidentally as it might apply to broader scientific questions.
