American politics have been ugly and vicious since at least the day Washington declined a third term. It doesn't bother me that D-lil shows up with her loony wish-fulfillment cherry-picking. There'll always be chumps like her who don't know how to tell a fact from a boil on her behind. What continues to bug me (this is my innocence coming through) is that anyone could read her semi-literate cut-n-paste and with anything but a squint and a snarl. It's self-serving crapola of the most childish and clueless, in which she proves she doesn't know what evidence is or how it works to support an argument. How does anyone graduate high school and pay such kerfuffle any mind?
Let us all thank Mr. Montreal for taking a swing at the work that free Americans ought to be doing for ourselves. And, for Jeebus' sake, please, at least, recognize that it is only a racist who ever feels any need to say "It has nothing to do with race." Who else but a racist would bother? Chee! I would have thought any idiot knew that!

freedom of Speech? well what are we hollering about. Yes, we need a Change in big letters. and in the beginning god made man to lead anyway. not woman. even tho I dont fight women liberation. A woman has her place, not leading the world. We all are one blood one flesh, in the eyes of god. We are not to blame him for suffering the worst presidental in the past. that is a dirty mess that the next president has to clean up.
so, let us not blame this man for someone else's thoughts. who are you to judge this person. you are saying vote for a white person. look in your last paragraph. so, it just mean that you have bought out your hidden feelings and Obama's paster bought his out in the opening. he was honest with his, out, not dishonest, in if you know what I mean. | |

Seminary instructors do not have to agree with what they teach, nor do they have to be of the denomination they are teaching. Get up & leave??? I couldn't sit in any church, because I rarely agree 100% to anything. But I can't leave the church I have been attending for 25 years , they are my family & support system for all joy & sorrow. | |

He doesn't catch on very quick does he? I don't care if you see him as the saviour of the US. I don't. Even Oprah knew to distance herself from that church. He's just not the brightest bulb in the box. Thats just for starters.
We don't have to hate each other becauses we disagree. But if it helps you, go ahead.

I will vote for Obama anytime anyday. He is no perfect person and he knows it, but none of us are either. I suggest that before we take the throne as king makers in judgment of other people, we should first examine ourselves.

Some American's , who fled from the Vietnam war, were fierce patriots - and some of my best teachers.
I grew up with this concept of standing up for what's right.

I think that's part of your problem...there is no independent media in America anymore.
In 1983 there were 50 corporations that controlled the majority of U.S. media.

One is that Obama is a liar. That's a given. Obama is a Washington politician.
Secondly is that he has shown astonishingly poor judgement in his choice of friends and affiliations and should be nowhere near the most powerful position in the world. W is guilty of this and he was elected twice. I'm not sure this necessarily disqualifies Obama.
Lets not make the same mistake and vote in another turkey. Unavoidable; the three main contenders are all turkeys in one respect or another.
I'm not really sure what Ron Paul have done in his life to change the lives of other people. Geez if this is a presidential requirement, let's elect Bill Gates, he's changed the lives of most of today's computer users, he's had the most impact. | |

Dress him up in a white navy suit with medals on the chest, the old war hero bit ...he's got a pretty, white wife who would have plenty of teas and socials at the White House and, of course, double their fortunes while in office ... oh, it might come out that he was singled out for special treatment in the VC prison in the Nam because he was the son of an admiral and maybe he, um, exaggerated the bits about being tortured and his shoulder injury was really from the copter crash impact ...who really knows, huh.... and what does it matter, what's most important is what do you want to be believe.
And we will pretend there is nothing wrong here, all that matters is "winning" in Iraq because if we "win" in Iraq, see, then we will never again have a terrorist bother us, isn't that right?
We can go into deep denial and a deep, deep sleep with McCain ...that would be nice. I need the rest and I need to believe that it's all just fine, leave it alone, let the "free market" sort it all out, it always does, right? Who needs to get a headache from all those complicated things, anyway, huh?
Ya, we'll just sit out there on the big, white house front porch in the white wicker chairs and suck down some Mint Juleps and listen to the cat play the fiddle and watch the cows jump over the moon, sure we will..........sure we will.

wright now will sell millions of copies of his book, whereas before, he couldn't. the guy WILL NOT shut up and go away. obama's camp handled it badly from the beginning.
if you ask me, they'd both kill each other with sporks given half a chance.
will it hurt obama's chances? polls say yes. personally, i think the company you keep does have a lot to do with being president. also, i think more and more is going to come out about obama the closer we get to november. really, we know next to nothing about the guy | |
