Dont care how much the gas costs, I'm a driving fool. I love to drive - I take the bus to work so I can drive on the weekends!!! whoo hoo. 1st car was a '68 Chevy Bel Air - that car sure could get me out of those snow drifts up in Ohio; '69 Dodge Swinger, 340 (damn motor mounts); '69 Chevy Camaro Rally Sport, four on the floor, headers, quad carbuerator and posi!!! I really loved THAT car. I think gas back then was 35/gal. Those were the days!!!

| What do you drive or ride.......We want to know............ Posted: 5/10/2008 2:30:52 PM | I drive a 08' Nissan Titan truck SE quad/crew cab. I did drive a 06' 350Z convertible traded it in on the Titan truck in November. Which was kinda of funny! I drive into the dealership to pick up a plastic piece for my car and drive out with the Titan! My first truck in high school was my sisters (who is away in the Army) a 79' Chevy. My next one was a 94' Ford Ranger that was totaled in California. Next one was a 96' Honda Civic loved it great gas mileage! Next one was a 98' Ford Escort ZX-2, next was was a 99' Ford ranger, next one was 2000 Ford focus Kona package that I purchased in 2001 and the next one was a 2004 Ford Ranger truck.
Worst car out the bunch was the 2000 Ford Focus. Best was probably the Civic. The one that was the most fun was the 350Z.
As you can see I owned none of them and continue to trade in every one-three years and make payments! Maybe I am ADHD in cars? lol Probably behavior I learned from my mom and dad growing up. They always traded every two to three years.

| What do you drive or ride.......We want to know............ Posted: 5/17/2008 9:17:31 PM | Interesting item over at US News & World Reports… seems that researchers over at CNW Marketing Research, Bandon, OR, have developed a “color-confidence index” based on the cars we drive! For example, they report that: “People who own emerald green automobiles, it turns out, have the most positive attitude about the course of their own lives. Dark blue and silver are other colors chosen by upbeat people. Red supposedly connotes an aggressive, high-speed personality, while yellow, theoretically, is for folks with sunny dispositions.” And, sorry ‘bout you folks who drive black cars – CNW claims that you are “the most downbeat drivers of all.”

| What do you drive or ride.......We want to know............ Posted: 5/18/2008 3:24:18 PM | My first vehicle was an amazing 96' Chevy Blazer V6, 4 wheel drive, two-toned green and tan color, 12 CD changer (the old school way). Then there was the 2000 Dodge Durangeo SLT, V8 engine, a tan color. I liked how big it was, but geeze the gas for that got pretty ridiculous. I could get it to get about 19mpg.
Now I drive a beautiful Tungsan Grey 2006 Mazda 6. (hatchback). It gets about 27-30 mpg, 6 CD changer, moon roof, spoiler, and has great trunk space for a car! I can fit a twin size mattress into the back of it no problem and am still able to close the trunk! I also ride a beautiful 2006 Suzuki GSXR 600 (a crotch rocket). It gets about 45 mpg and is red on black. I love my babies!

| What do you drive or ride.......We want to know............ Posted: 5/19/2008 12:54:44 PM | Sandee, with the price of GAS, I'm thinking more with a bicycle built for two. Walking around the block, hand in hand, might be nice, too. The price of gas just burns me up. But we do what we do? Maybe someone has some good ideas. Joe. | |

| What do you drive or ride.......We want to know............ Posted: 5/19/2008 6:20:10 PM | I drive a 2008 Milano Red Honda Fit. I have a sexy name for it, but I only tell those who are close to me!
Its a stick shift, tons of cargo space inside but not much front seat functional storage. But it has five built in cupholders...more than my explorer had!! It had 4, and two were the "fold down" type. I'll try to get a pic of it on my account.

I am the proud owner of a new truck payment. Another ford ranger of course.. I love it except........ well I wish it were bigger! They sure are making those things cramped now a days. I told the dealer at the rate they are shrinking the trucks.. next time I'll have to buy me an F150 to get a ranger!

| What do you drive or ride.......We want to know............ Posted: 5/21/2008 12:01:24 AM | | I would luv to have my old 96' Honda Civic back with the raising gas prices! Loved that car got 35mpg even loaded down and an automatic. wonderful cars Honda's are in my opinion. One thing I can not understand is why did my Focus and ranger trucks get such poor gas mileage in comparison to the Honda?????? I hope Ford has improved the gas mileage their cars and trucks get. | |
