McCain, Clinton, and the gas tax

I don't care if it's a poor fisherman who has to tow his boat to the water to make his meager living. TAX him.
Actually, those guys don't alarm me ... they usually have their buddies with them and so it's not just one person for all that gas usage.

I don't care if it's a landscaper who needs a pickup truck to run his business, f u c k it, TAX him.
Again ... they travel in teams ... nothing alarming about that.

yeah, and if they don't stop driving the SUV's, we can line them up and shoot them in the head. no excuses.
Nah ... just the obnoxious ones. Hmmm ... betting that "jmarquise" drives a big ole pick up truck ... or maybe an SUV?

if I don't like something, TAX it!
Yup ... that's right. Are we allowed to include someONE or does it just have to be something?

Hillary has suggested that the gas companies pay the gas tax ... at least that way the states would not lose the revenue if the gas tax was totally excused. But then the gas companies would just raise the price of gas to offset some of the money they're laying out.

I know lots of people who drive a pick up truck to work and back ... a big ole SUV to work and back. Cripies, I work with nurses who drive all over ALONE ... one person to the vehicle only (upwards of 70 - 80 miles a day) in their SUV's. I still say that those people driving such GASHOG vehicles ... polluting the air 3 - 4 times faster than the vehicles that get much better gas mileage ... should have to pay more in taxes.

Why not make them pay more taxes on their tag renewals each year? Heavier vehicles also tear up the roads faster than the lighter vehicles, so they're not only polluting at faster, higher rates, they also tear up the roads at faster rates.
