Posted: 5/11/2008 9:29:24 AM | Well I made my imaginary quota for the weekend with a few hours to kill.....Love it.....I hope to actually see all of you out that night......It is all great to put your names down but the most important part is to actually show up....I sincerely am looking forward to seeing you all there on the 23rd...I personally will arrive at 7pm sharp like usual.....
Remember you can bring anyone you want as well.....

You’ll be making your way through the urban jungle to the site of your adventure. A wild outpost in the heart of the megacity of Montreal to a place called a "Loco Loco". You’re there solely for scientific purposes. You had heard rumours of a weekly ritual that drew a variety of species together for a night of uninhibited dance.
Your job is to research the varied wildlife found in this place off the beaten track. As you near your destination the night sky is pierced with the sounds of tribal drumming and an intoxicating savage rhythm called the "Clave". You’ll be entering the habitat with caution; this is definitely not a place for novice explorers. The climate is extreme – You’ll be immediately hit with a wall of heat. You quickly take a post in a corner of the beautiful cave-like environment and start taking notes. Below is an overview of all the wildlife you will observe and make the same observation as me that Latin dancing can be and is very sensuous so here is my thoughts as to why...
Salsa is Just Like S-E-X!

9. You fantasize about doing it in front of large audiences.
8. Its fun to watch your partner do it with someone else.
7. You do it ALL NIGHT LONG and when you are finished, both of you are hot, sweaty, and completely exhausted.

5. Sometimes, you don't even know your partner's name!
4. You have partners that don't mind being used for practice or enjoyment.
3. After you have done it with someone really well, you just have to tell all your friends.
2. You can have multiple partners, as long as your current partner does not know.

Posted: 5/15/2008 1:42:07 PM | The last time I went to a POF party that was doing lots of Latin music along with the salsa I saw a very pretty lady sitting at a table all by herself.
She kept glancing at me on and off for about an hour..Then she finally plucked up the courage to walk over and asked if I would like to dance with her, which I did and when the song was over, she says, "You're such a great dancer! But I'm kind of surprised to see you're here all alone".
I tell her, "Well actually, my partner and I used to go dancing at different clubs several nights a week.
Unfortunately, she died suddenly and this is the first time I've been able to go out without her".
"Wow, that's really sad. She says But don't you have any friends or relatives that would want to come along and dance with you?", she asks.
"I suppose", I reply, "but they're all at the funeral". | |
