Posted: 5/20/2008 4:18:56 PM | hi Jase, u can get the metro 2 St James from the monument, just make sure u get the rite 1, lol...or come out of central station & turn left, straight up the road 2 St James Boulevade, main road, then turn rite, u cant miss the footy ground & the Strawberry is opposite......failing that jump in a taxi at the station & u'll b there in 3 mins....we'll watch out 4 u....

Posted: 5/22/2008 7:18:51 AM | Have been a member on here for many moons now and am seriously miffed that i missed the last party due to not logging in untill it was to late, and now when i do find out in time.
I will be at work on the evening of the 30th  (life just aint fair)
Putting aside my dissapointment for a brief second, I would like to say i hope you all have a good  also anyone whos going and has a shread of compassion to please have at least 1  for me! 
Hoping i will be a bit luckier with the work rota when the next one comes around.

Looks like there will be another good turnout for this month's Party . . . if we keep getting 250 - 300 people there should be no problem continuing with one every month. Obviously a lot of people bring 2 or 3 friends, and many site members just turn up without posting they're coming, so don't worry if there's nobody on the attending list you think you'll fancy!
Can I remind any newcomers to try and come early . . . . don't imagine that people only turn up later - there are usually plenty there by 8 o'clock, which is great!
I could still could do with a couple more Volunteer Greeters to do a turn at signing people in . . . please send me a personal message if you'd like to . . . if you've already offered I'll be in touch during the week.
Finally . . I was too embarrassed to mention that last time I AGAIN forgot to bring my Camera! But I was surprised that there weren't more complaints at a lack of photos afterwards. SO what's the concensus - would you like me to take lots of Photos this time and post them afterwards? | |
