| Ignorance is bliss- is it? Posted: 4/17/2009 11:05:32 AM | All I can think is ...
Ignorance is bliss ... sure
Imagine waking up one day, discovering your spouse had been sleeping around, never intended to be faithful just secure in the detail that any children birthed would be yours to pay for.
What of the GF that insists the child is yours, insists you put your name to the birth, but rages against a DNA test ... bet you'd rather the test before you claim the child as yours. Or will 18 or so years later finding out be just fine?
I have picked on the worst area, to make a point. I consider wisdom to be bliss, at a price. Ignorance to be bliss, at a price. At least with one I get to chose to pay the price or not, sometimes. The other I may not even know, or set my self up for worse.

I don't think lying is good, I like people to be upfront with me so ignorance is not bliss then no.

At times, it would be nice to have an on/off switch........who wants to know what the future holds? Yes, sometimes ignorance is definitely bliss!
