Lady bikers get my vote everytime.
Nothing wrong in showing where your interests lie and on a hot summers day you got to wear something cool under those leathers for when you stop.
keep it up girls.

Try riding pillion doing 140mph.through the night up the M1 your hands clamped onto a pair of 38DDs.
Takes a lot of trust in your rider.

But then again you lot of make believe macho men would probably prefer to hide behind your sofa playing with your winkle than acknowledge that you are afraid of a real woman.A pair of testicles does'nt automatically make you superior.

Fact is I know women who would tear them off and grill them for breakfast you lot of pretend supermen.

I admire strong self determined women with a mind of their own.Far superior to the majority of men who are simply wannabees and closet wimps.

I know quite a few female riders as i'm a biker myself and regularly go on meets, I have found that alot of them can handle a bike better than most men and quite a few can fix bikes.
Oh, if your wondering only a few were hairy

Bollox I not got a picture of me posing on my bike! lol

What about all those models at the bike shows - don't try and tell me that they don't appeal to the mass male population!
If they don't then why are they still their and in the bike mags?

What decade are we in? everyone's got their bits out nowadays, draped over anything!

Dating a woman biker could certainly have it's benefits. Just make sure you find one with a compatible blood type who also carries a donor card. It'd be like having your own personal organ bank should you need it.

Wahhoo here we go!..........................................

Shall I disregard this statement? na that'd be wrong lol.

So are you of the opinion that all women bikers will die due to riding bikes?

Funny though still.

nothing wrong with women bikers or even female pillions .... well unless following one in a procession of bikes that has a very pleasing rear aspect two foot in front of you and you can not help but look lol :) .......ah the memories of the mayday run ( will have headcam next year lol ) but if the ones that want to show themselves with their favourite beast im all for it and i wonder op if it was a case of a women draping herself around another beast ( RR) would you be complaining ?

That's hardly likely. The best way to view a woman biker is from behind. There's something about a shapely bum in leather.

I believe the original question by DK was asking whether ppl thought the calendar-type photos were tacky, not actually whether people liked women riding bikes!

I've held a bike licence for over 20 years and it's part of who I am and what I like.
I'm used to being part of a minority and in fact, I like it.
I don't really care whether people approve or disapprove of me riding a bike and if I wanted a photo of myself posed half naked on it, then that would be my choice.
However, I probably wouldn't post it on such a site as this!

I do find it weird that manufacturers of bikes (and cars/trucks/etc) think that having a woman posed half-naked on or next to a vehicle will help sell. Yes, a guy might look at the pic, but does it really sway ppl to buy?

Hmmm intersting thread. I don't really look at female profiles lol but I've seen alot worse on men and womens profiles than being draped over a bike.

Bike pics are on my page as they are a huge part of who I am and surely your pics and profile are part of showing who you are. But I'm not one for flaunting myself so no draping pics on my page lol.

Ther are alot of boobs and bums, torso etc pics on here, just because a bike is added doesn't make it anymore tacky

LOL cheers Me B!

Well miss, never had a 750 but don't be fooled by the fact I have an NC30 lol, pennies dictated that purchase thanks to buying a house. It will eventually become my track bike. My last bike was a 1998 red and white R1 and a K2 GSXR600.

The NC30 is so much fun it's stupid lol as I'm sure you know.

Nice to see another lady biker on here that isn't something ... dare I say it, a 125 or a cruiser lol

this all sounds a bit sexist i cant see the problem a woman has equal rights to "drape" herself over a bike if she wants to i ride a large kawasaki 2ltr and would love to find a lady who likes bikes or rides one her self and seeing her profile with a picture on a bike gets my vote every time xx Ken Gravesend MCC

Here smiling at all your perceptions of women bikers. In my case, when I was 16 in 1970 I just wanted something to get me from A to B so I bought a scooter for £40. I loved the independence and journeyed all over the Peak District. I also had a car license but at 19 , my then husband and I owned a pair of Kawasaki Z1A 900, but I quite enjoyed being my own person and enjoyed riding with elegance. I was really very shy so my aloofness often came over as being snobby. I was waiting to start my nursing training so for a while I was a motor-cycle despatch rider in London. I never owned leathers, but wore normal clothes under my waterproofs and one person nicknamed me "The girl with the sliding thighs" much to my amusement. My theory that many women, including me, seemed to handle a bike quite well is because we relied on technique rather than strength so I did win a competition handling the 900 around a course with a glass of water in one hand, and was one of the few who stayed upright across a muddy field on a few occasions. I recently did consider a BMW CS650 but I really need my car these days for taking my mother around who is 87. She used to be over 20 stones in weight and my 900 took her on pillion easily, though my scooter was less forgiving!

That's fantastic Amberlin about the glass of water comp. I agree alot of it for the girls is based on confidence, skill and technique rather than size and strength.

I'm 5'6 and have struggled with the height of some bikes and the weight but a bit of practise, careful planning of parking lol and you over come it all after a few teething troubles sometimes. Of course now I have the 400 I have no probs lol, the R1 took some parking consideration at times etc that's for sure.
