I do. It's exhausting at times. I'd like to find someone to take over for me here and there so I can rest, but no one's right enough to even consider. Sigh. Oh well..

Posted: 5/10/2008 8:43:05 PM | why is it so often women (and i guess some men) think it's perfectly fine to date more than one person at a time? why clutter your mind with more than one person at a time? is it always reduced to who's the better of the group you're dating?
if you have an interest in someone, why can't you just stick to just one? why would there ever be a second one ever considered? for women i guess they are incapable of speaking up and feel they are always in a waiting mode to have many guys lined up and just are waiting for one guy to speak up and say he wants her?? Is that it? And of course there's the dreadful feeling of being alone as if it'd kill her from not having a date for an entire week.
conversely, I've known so many people to leave a partner for another person. I guess this goes hand-in-hand with the present topic. both are so ridiculous to me. People should leave relationships on merit of the relationship and not because someone else comes along.

Eliminate the woman who irritates the piss out of you, and who could never be a female President or Primeminister.
p.s. MAKE sure you are loaded with lots of CHOCALOTE when dealing with either one of them....it's all fine and dandy till someone gets a black eye.
p.s.s. During the process of eliminating the B1tchiest one, make sure you wait until her cycle is over before giving her the bad news.....unless of course you like the drama.

How long can I date two men/women (whichever applies to you)?
As long as they let you.
As all sensible people would (*grin*), I agree with Ugly Betty, of course. I'd add that you become the bad guy only when you lead someone to believe what is in fact a deception -- whether their mistaken belief is developed by an omission on your part, or actual falsehoods. If you're honest, there's no deception, so your intent is honorable, and you'll have all the time you need to decide if A is really the woman who makes your heart go flippitty-flip.
By the way, methinks you've found, in Lady A (referring to your last post in this thread, msg. 38), a woman with Solomon-esque wisdom. Pick her. Believe me. Should she tire of you, or you of her, there will come again the feast of these horrid choices (i.e. 'Whom shall I date, of all these fantastic people?').
Gotta love that last line there, given your initial reluctance to cut off access to the Lady B of your original dilemma:
Seriously, I can not date Lady B! It just feels wrong.

What you want to do is try to have sex with as many women as you can (without stooping below an acceptable standard of appearance/physical health - which you set for yourself) At least make the effort and get some practice flirting in.
women hate when you do this if they know about it but they are generally so caught up in themselves, and they often play the field as well, that they won't know if you just shut off your phone when you are with them and don't mention it. Especially if you are kind of average looking, and not swimming in money - they'll never suspect you are bagging ho's left and right. Then if you want a girlfriend you just keep sleeping with one and spending time with her. She'll ask for a relationship most likely. | |

Yup...sarcasm...cos I think this kinda situation is stupid, unneccessary and will never ever make any sense to me.
It actually makes a lot of sense, because either of these women could be doing the same thing, or not really interested in him, or could turn out to be someone he has no real interest in. He's made no committment to them, he isn't sleeping with either, it sounds like.

When I have just started to date someone, I do not expect them to be exclusive until we have a mutual conversation before things go farther. When I met my late husband, we decided almost immediately and I let him have a dinner with someone else he had been seeing casually before I came along to tell her he was getting married. Yes, sometimes love comes at first sight and mine lasted for over 24 years before the car accident that killed him and injured me. In answer to your question, #3 should be fine. Since this is June and you posted on May 3rd, what did you do? | |
