I really hate when I'm prettier than the girl I'm with LOL.. j/k but not really...so step it up a notch and impress the men you go out with....we try...you try!

Posted: 5/5/2008 3:21:13 PM | Yup I would just turn my leopard thong inside out and I'm ready to go I just can't stand feeling dirty down there. lick my hand and flip up the front of my hair, grab some DR scholls foot powder and give a few squirts and walk through it wafting it around,I just love that smell, and constantly pick at my nose hairs until I arrive at your front door.

If I were just chillin, I sure would go...You never know what you could miss by not going!

Actually did that last night.....came straight from a 10 hour workday with khakis and a polo. No need to get too dressed up for late night Steak and Shake!

| Going on a date as is. Would you do it? Posted: 5/5/2008 3:43:19 PM | This may be the first time a woman from a dating site has said to me, "So...what are you wearing right now?"
My "as is" is almost always kind of dressy, weekend or not, so I'm good to go. And since I rarely wear makeup besides lipstick, it's never going to take me long to get out the door.
I would, however, wonder at least a little if that sort of first-meet spontaneity is a foretaste of someone unable to make or keep plans. --Ms. Flis

| Going on a date...as is, would you do it? Posted: 5/5/2008 3:48:51 PM | Sure I'd go meet someone just as I am now. Just got done washing my car. Have an old ripped t-shirt on, jeans rolled up sloppy and barefoot, hair pulled back, and now have one heck of a sunburn.
Glad I'm not the one who will be looking at me though.

| Going on a date as is. Would you do it? Posted: 5/5/2008 3:50:27 PM | Phoenix555: I guess I should clarify. I went outside to my lamp post and, you have to unscrew the top (there are TWO screws); hence, why I have to use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws and lift off the top. I changed the lightbulb inside and then put the top back on and then used the screwdriver (again) to tighten the two screws back in. I hope this explanation didn't make you laugh (again). LOL

P.S. I was merely proud of myself that I could fix things myself and not always be "girly girl" about doing things.

| Going on a date as is. Would you do it? Posted: 5/5/2008 4:06:36 PM | First time meet, no way. After the first impression, thing not a problem. If the other person knew I was at work and was willing to be seen out with me in my work clothes then even leaving straight from work is doable most of the time. In the summer I may be too sweaty at that point to even live with myself so I would need a shower. There is a lot of stuff I would have missed doing if I always had to plan ahead, although it is my nature to plan.
Right now I am at work and wearing charcoal work clothes.

| Going on a date as is. Would you do it? Posted: 5/5/2008 4:38:22 PM | Your supposed to get all dressed up and take a shower before a date? Makeup and the whole nine yards.....Damn... Well I don't wear makeup unless I am going to a special party like a wedding or a funeral.. Then it is face powder and eyeliner and lip gloss. As far as going as I am yes I would I always have. I take one shower in the morning that is all she wrote. If I clean house or mow lawn I take my shower after that. I don't do the hair thing I let it air dry once it is dry and wavy I put it up in a ponytail. Maybe that is why I am not finding a man. I am not primping enough I wish someone would have told me..... | |

Yeah I would go in a minute....wearing my cut off shorts and tee shirt, no makeup and my hair is a hot mess up in a ponytail, wash my face and hands, throw on some flip flops and out the door... wouldnt go to very many places but maybe a good walk around the park or an ice cream shoppe or something of this nature... my philosphy is see me, love me... besides, may make him appreciate it when I do spend time doing the primpin and fussin

| Going on a date...as is, would you do it? Posted: 5/5/2008 9:57:18 PM | Hey Breeze...thanks! You said exactly what I was trying to convey.
Of course, I am not saying there is anything wrong with not wanting to run out the door "as is", first impressions ARE important. However, I tend to have a "what the hell attitude" about most things, makes life less stressful. The poster who said she requires a 4 day notice...that is fine if it works for her or if she needs that much time, I prefer not suffering through the "what ifs" and such for that long. Of course...all this is kinda figuratively speaking, I can't even remember the last date I had.

| Going on a date...as is, would you do it? Posted: 5/5/2008 10:03:13 PM | Yes I would!! Spontenous dates are funner than planned ones I think
Just yesterday I had a spontenous date....I just finised a work thing and was on the way to being dropped off at my car...when a new friend (who shall remain nameless...hee hee) calls n asks if I wanted to see Iron Man...I said yes...not only excited to see him, but to see the movie!! I loved the preview n indeed a GREAT movie. I told him I would meet him in approx. 45 mins (driving home, factoring time to primp, n heading to the movie theater)....took me 30 mins to get there (so safe to say I didn't primp....just added some lipstick and headed out)! Good thing too cuz the line waiting for the movie was loooong n of course he was wandering around the mall instead of standing in line...he swears there was no line when he bought the tickets (18 mins earlier)...haha.

Talk about being tight up on the rules. God forbid someone's actually available and interested!
No one would honestly think anyone is so 'booked' that they couldn't do anything at a moment's notice and required notice days in advance.

| Going on a date...as is, would you do it? Posted: 5/5/2008 10:33:19 PM | Of course, might as well see the real deal. I'm beautiful day/night....lol But, yeah I would go after all we are who we are why hide it. I actually like that better, when you do as they say clean up......wow it gets there attention on a more positive note.
It has been many years since I have done this, I am in a seven year relationship. But that is exactly how we started.

| Going on a date...as is, would you do it? Posted: 5/6/2008 12:41:03 AM | Sure, why not...meet a man with bad breath, NOT, no make up, bad hair day, NOT,old beat up housecoat and bunny slippers, sure it will be fun to watch his eyes fall to the floor. Dented Halo not included. | |

| Going on a date...as is, would you do it? Posted: 5/6/2008 9:22:36 AM | Several years ago (more like 6 years by now) I drove 3 hours to meet someone on the spur of the moment. The decision to go was made easier by the fact that it was a Thursday afternoon and I had no plans until Monday.
Unfortunately what what was supposed to be an all weekend thing, turned into a one night stand, with an explanation of "I just wanted to be friends".
I'd do it again in a moment
At the moment I couldn't walk out the door as I am, as I'd get arrested
