Posted: 5/27/2008 6:52:31 AM | A dead on tie between sweet rose' and mead... if you can find a good mead... very rare in these parts... in my opinion the only good ones are Honeywood, Chaucer's and Camelot, in that order. As far as rose's go, most small wineries' product will be much better than any commercial brand. The best I have had to date is Frankemuth Rose', bottled by St. Julian's of PawPaw Michigan. There is also a lovely Black Muscat dessert wine called Elysium that you can get at Total Wine, highly recommended.

Posted: 5/28/2008 8:47:02 PM | If I had a Million dollars... I'd buy a home for my step mom & dad in Wyanett, Illinois so they could be centrally located and be able to visit their friends & family. I'd also Buy a home for my mom in Sidney MT so she could do the same. They DESERVE to RETIRE. I would send my daughter to the college of her dreams - and pay off the house we're in now so she'd have a decent place to live or use it as an investment. (I'm more than willing to get an apartment) I would also 'help' those people who I know are stuggling and really working hard to stay afloat... they deserve a break too. I'd fly my chat buddy Dave over from England, put him up in a nice B&B for a few weeks ... so he could see the US. If there were anything left over I'd help pay for college for one or two of my daughters lifelong friends.
