| How many partners is too many and how many have you had?
Posted: 6/3/2005 5:06:07 PM | I always wonder about people who have had so many partners... (and yes I might get my butt kicked here  ) if they were that good in bed why would anyone of their partners want to leave them? 
I think if you personally have to ask yourself if it is too many, its too many... keep your damn pants on. | |

the sex can be great and the relationship can be the pits.
been there, done that.... far too many times.
of course, i've also had looooooong term relationships with bad lovers that i tried to make work when it was obvious that the bad sex was a major symptom of what was wrong with the relationship. | |

Posted: 6/3/2005 8:28:42 PM | I'm not going to go into the "numbers game," but there have been occaisions when I've had "a few." Some Yuk!, Some so, so, some good, but at the end of the day and I'm all alone, I'm still my best satisfier.

Posted: 6/3/2005 8:58:37 PM | I'm not so concerned with how many partners as with a person's whole attitude toward sex. Safety and respect are important. Respect yourself, respect your partner(s). Any guy who brags about how many women he's slept with just turns me off completely, because it sounds like he has nothing to offer me other than a quick ****, and it also sounds like they weren't human beings to him, just notches on his bedpost.
I think I've had an appropriate number of partners for my age, and I respect myself enough to choose my partners carefully to avoid getting burned. | |

Posted: 6/4/2005 12:48:18 AM | | im nineteen and it seems like ive had two every year since I was seventeen so lets count on the fingers ... um four? yeah idk i think that if your safe and aint out to just screw for the hell of it (without feelings) that its cool for you to do what ever you want. it aint my life, but personaly I wanna cool down a bit and have more relationships cause it seemed like back then "I did it all for the nookie". | |

Posted: 6/4/2005 9:22:16 PM | When a woman asks me this question I refuse to answer it. It's a lose/lose situation. Either you have less experience than her and she thinks less of you for it or you have had more partners than her and she thinks you are some kind of whore with low morals.
I actually stopped counting some time ago. The number got to twenty and I decided I just didn't want to know what the number was so I could never answer this question. That was...a number of years back, long before I ever tried internet dating.
My number is definately too high. | |
