| Does LOVE exist...or do we just want it to so bad?

Sometimes it can be snatched away because you and the SO do not share the same principles, and have to make the choice to move on when you make that realization. My good friend left this system back in Feb, as she met a fine gent. They fell hard for one another....but just last week she called to say they had reached an impass-and could not agree on a major issue. They are handling it like adults, said good bye and wished one another well. I have been bugging her to join again, she is the one who first showed me these forums.
Love exists....the trick is finding someone to love who shares all of your beliefs, respects the way you live your life, and you can respect them too. If all those things are present, it is a beautiful thing! It does hurt when you think you have found it, but I guess that is why we date right? To learn more and see if that person is the one you will move forward with. I feel bad for my friend, she is hurting right now. I love her...so there, love exists! LOL | |

When we try to find love and that perfect partner. What are we really looking for and for each of us it is different,
I just had to take step back and do some soul searching and it was right in front of me all the time and yet being of a stubborn decent haha,,, was running and running and yes crashing into bricks each time,,, well after my headaches hurt so much i quit running and its been a long haul and the moral of this is,,,,,,,,,,, be careful what you wish for and I know its been said over and over ,,, Listen to your Heart!

Its just that some on here have not come to appreciate how wise and wonderful i am!
I recieved my DFA a long time ago....That is my Doctorate of Free Advice from the University of Kharma. Mind you I may have slept through a class or two.
Now back on Topic
Here is another piece of free advice:
Everyone who falls in love eventually falls out of love with that person....for then it is that things like Committment, Compassion, and Appreciation take on more meaning than LOVE...which ironically vaults a person into Love again....Love on a higher level !
Its an irony that usually can only be appreciated by those have lived and had a relationship for a very long time. | |
