As for NBA players with children out of wedlock, do we really have the time to name all of them? Greg Minor, as former Celtic bench warmer, and Louisville Cardinal great, actually spent some time in Jail, because he didn't pay child support on his SEVEN children. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
And to the dude who said Bobby Knight - Are you SERIOUS? He may be a little bit of a prick and a hard nosed attitude, but he is about as far as you can get from a Douche Bag. He's actually a pretty stand-up guy, imo.
How about these two sports "reporters" - Jim "I wish he really would burn" Rome... and that little homo from First Take, Skip Bayless. If he aint queer, he ought to be. Not that being gay makes you a Douche... but he really doesn't know wtf he's talking about 90% of the time. That, or he throws out these ridiculous opinions of his for sheer shock and hate value alone. Either way, he sucks Dana Jacobsen's pole. | |

You know its bad when they make a new rule with reguards to goal tender interferance when you stand in front of a goalie waving your hands around like your in the NBA trying to block his veiw.
He's also got a real classy coment to make at any given post game. | |

I met Sean Avery at Wings training camp the year after the last time the Wings won the cup. He spent about 3 hours after their morning skate signing autographs and chit-chatting with fans....kids especially! I'll take THAT over any of those guys that think they are too busy or too important to spend time with the fans that ultimately pay their fat paychecks..... | |

The tournament, part of the 2000 Sydney Olympics, was for athletes with intellectual disabilities – you had to have an IQ of 70 or less in order to qualify. Basically, the Spaniards FAKED BEING RETARDED!
Amazing the depths some people will stoop to in order to get a gold medal.

I'd have to go with this......this really IS sinking pretty low.
There's a sports talk show that I watch local to the DC area, but I watch online, that has a segment at the end called "The Penalty Box". At the end, each of the hosts chooses someone (or a group of "someones") in sports to put in their "penalty box" for something outrageous, illegal, or downright idiotic that they have done during the previous week. It really puts on a spotlight on how out of control our pro athletes have gotten.

Pacman Jones has been questioned by police 10 times in 3 years.
Tank Johnson went to jail for having too many guns.
Charles Grant was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for a fight outside a club.
Chris Henry just got another assualt charge. Forget the alcohol and 15 year old prostitutes.
Kalvin Patterson just got charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant woman and domestic battery by strangulation.
Throw in other easy ones like Vick, Clarrette(wasn't he wearing a bullet proof vest when the cops chased him?), and this is barely the tip.
Here's something for you to chew on. This is a list of NFL players arrested since 2000. Anyone want to hazzard a guess at hom many entries there are? I admit some are fraudlent charges but it's more than one or two that aren't.

I still like Roger, but I really wish he'd just drop all the bullshìt and come clean. The longer he goes on, the worse he makes himself look. If he'd just pulled an Andy Pettitte and been straight up at the beginning, it wouldn't have been good, but it would have been much better than what it's become. He's slowly destroying his entire legacy trying to save his credibility.
OJ takes this one easily for me. I can't believe that guy is still alive. I remember my history teacher in high school predicting somebody would shoot him within a year of his acquittal. It's sad to see that he was wrong. | |
