They were articulate and smart, sexy and good looking. They were also as crazy as a shit-house rat. In both cases the relationship started off with a bang and ended with a whimper. As charming as each was they were immature, borderline personality disorders, excessively narcissistic and manipulative. Each was excellent at disguising this pathological disorder.
I see one now and again around town. Ever been stalked by a gorgeous but crazy woman? I had to threaten her with a stalking complaint. That stopped it for a while. She has now found another way to be around me, in a self-help group. If the recent one were to go straight I would be after her, but she does not know the difference between what is real and what is not. She lies.
I am much more cautious in relationship vetting now. | |

The truth is that most can't IMAGINE marrying a prostitute... or having someone else have sex with their partner... but it does happen.... and it isn't what I'd call Uncommon.
Not all "prostitutes" are of the druggie-street-walking sort of stereotype that's pushed in the media.
Some call themselves "Escorts"... others call themselves "Strippers" who provide "Extra Services" to certain members of their clientele.
But it's really all the same thing.
While some are druggies, some immature, some crazy, I also know for a fact that there are also smart, articulate and well educated. And all of them are doing it to survive.
I know that because I when I went to University, I learned of at least 3 girls who stripped to pay for their education and I know at least one of them provided "extra services". And that girl had a boyfriend who I met and she also graduated and got a decent job. Don't know if she quit the part time stripping/escorting.
I've met a couple of girls right here on POF that have day jobs like "Nurse" or "Receptionist", but then also do the odd bit of stripping/escorting on the side so they can afford more things like a nicer car or a nicer vacation.
And you wouldn't be able to tell that these girls are or have been escorts just by looking at their profiles here on POF. | |

All in all, she was a smart, sharp, witty and intelligent woman, was good with money and was successful overall, wasn't the type to burn out on drugs or even smoked cigarettes or pot at all. I suppose that it could have been termed as part time prostitution, in some form. Other then that it really depends on your stomach if you can handle such a thing. Most people would have been in contact with someone who was involved sexually with someone else, be it knowingly, or unknowingly. | |

Prostitutes are paid to be nice, amazing and everything you want. The chances of a prostitute actually loving someone is as much of a chance they have at having their drug dealer say "lets get married."
Sure, there's lots of easy, sleazy girls around - but a ton of them wouldn't go as far to strut corners and give any guy with two teeth and a handlebar moustashe a night in a sketchy hotel alone. Guys who complain about girls who are super skanky are usually the guys who are just bitter at how some girls don't give them the time of day.
Plus, who knows of all the funky diseases they may have or have invented.
