My eldest has a prize from school, a trip to chessington theme park and the middle one has a party to got to so unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it this time. Shame as I was looking forward to it but I can't be ferrying them about if I still came along.

Please remember, even tho it says its a Kiddie Camp, everyone is welcome, even if you havent got kids as there will be plenty of adult chillin time in the eve's so come, let see these figures working they way back up again cos i know its going to be a brilliant weekend for all ages.

Posted: 6/9/2008 5:40:53 AM | What brilliant weather we're getting at the mo, hopefully it will stay like this for the camp.
Make sure everyone brings plenty of sun cream and appropriate clothing as well as swimming gear.
Some of the games will invole getting very wet so make sure u've got a towel of two but dont worry about getting bits dry cos if its late in the day and the sun is on its way down there is a launderette there with tumble dryers.
Well its getting closer and closer, its going to be a great weekend and my kids are getting really excited.

Not all that are attending have children so don`t worry about that, pack your tent and come along and before you go to bed you will know someone there if not most of us, we are a friendly bunch.
The main thing about this weekend is it is aimed at the children and parents who have children but are short on baby sitting tokens, so they can meet the rest of the members and make new friends.
It is also a weekend where the adults are going to make an effort to drink less alcohol than they would when free of the kids. A fun weekend for all going.
Dont forget to pack a towel or 2 and a swim suit as there is a pool and other oportunities to get wet. | |

Just to let everyone know, i've just got off the phone to the campsite and we will all be put in the same area and for the previous campers its where we normally go, for the non-previous campers dont worry because as you book in you will be told where we are.
Not long to go now.

Sorry won't be able to make the camping as I have to be up and at the school at 7.00am on the Saturday morning to wave the little one off on a trip to France but hopefully will then be wide awake and will come down to visit for the day. Will make the effort to make some cakes but as this is a kiddie camp will not be bringing the usual variety of jelly!
Hopefully good weather and will catch up with you all at the end of the month. | |

Posted: 6/13/2008 2:28:06 AM | Looking good with all the sign ups, still finding things to add to our list of things to do.
May have track down a fishy thing to hang out side the tents so you can find us easily. Will let know what to look for as soon as I have my hands on it.
Info for anyone new that is thinking of popping in for the day on saturday, to join in the fun, it is OK to sign up. That way if we spot a lost soul wandering around, we have a chance to go "OH I know that face, saw them on the sign up", and not just think you are another camper who has forgotten where they pitched their tent. Also say Hi on the posts and let us know which day your thinking of popping down.
Some of us will be there from about mid-day Friday, so there is the afternoon and the evening to pop in.
We will be there all day saturday, larking around, possibly in the pool some of the time.
As for sunday, people are around all morning have breakfast and thinking of packing up ready for the off. As well as having another dip in the pool, larking around some more, but we will still have time to say HI and break the ice with you. Though there might not be many around in the afternoon and generally all gone by mid to late afternoon.

Well everyone, the camp is just 2 weeks away and i know my youngest daughter is looking forward to it. Its going to be 1 to remember.

If anyone has any spare camping equipment that they dont mind lending out could you please let me know because there are people that would like to come but they dont have a tent etc, thanks.
Its less than 2 weeks now peeps. If anyone has any ideas for activities please let us know as the more there is to do the better its going to be for the kids.
