| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/9/2008 4:41:40 PM | Who???? Me????
OP.....see msg. #62.....pleeaaassssse.
??????????????????????????????????
I think that she (OP I mean) might have been actually talking to me, altho I haven't posted in this thread till now...possibly out of shear confusion caused by the OP throwing me completely off. I thought maybe there were a bunch of deleted posts at first...but than I caught on but still couldn't figure it all out and than got really confuzed so I just gave up...I actually forgot the point of the thread, all I know is that it has something to do with coffee being equal to sex...which I find hard to believe! I don't drink coffee, don't like the taste, can't really stand it at all under normal circumstances, whereas, I love sex, really really enjoy it, and could stand to have it more often. So I would say that coffee and sex are complete opposites for me. :D

| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/9/2008 6:52:17 PM | | Whatever you women have going on in your heads its not being translated to the guys you're talking to. Sex with coffee? I don't think most guys have tried that. Burns too much | |
|
| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/9/2008 7:15:28 PM | That's funny! Coffee = Coffee! Either these guys are so used to getting sex or haven't had it in a VERY long time...either or. lol
I'll tell you what though. I took a 2 year break from dating and I still equate coffee with coffee!

| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/9/2008 8:07:22 PM | Hey I like sex as much as the next girl. I love coffee too. My favorite is Carmel Frappachino. I wonder what that code would be if it had a code. Probally the code is really from starbucks. It = one stupid idiot willing to pay almost 6 bucks for an iced coffee drink. Seriously guys what are the signals. I have been married a long time and don't know what they are... sending or recieving. Hmmm help :) | |
|
| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/9/2008 8:14:32 PM | trust me flowers, romantic meal and dim music much better than any offer of coffee
Again, why is a married woman looking for this from a man other than her husband...

| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/10/2008 6:43:39 AM | Hi lady seeking friend
I'd love to know which Café served those coffees, I'll be down there every lunch break
Joking aside I think some lads just "expect" sex if they are on a date or get invited to a lady's house for cuppa. Try not to let those lads get to you as everyone is different and I am sure that there are some women out their who masquerade "I want you to shag me silly" as "Come back to mine for a cuppa".
Despite the well known differences blokes and women are pretty much the same on the inside.

Uglybetty has the idea, anything can mean sex. When you come right down to it if I get invited to have coffee after midnight someone had better give me a reason to be up the rest of the night, because I will be.... Do people really meet for coffee after midnight (that aren't coming from a nightclub)? I don't think I'd ever invite a man to meet me for coffee in the middle of the night if I didn't know him...if I did, then yeah, I'd kinda be asking for it.
|
| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/10/2008 7:38:15 AM | | Well sometimes it can be an excuse, since I was young,if,say, you were dropping off your date, its 2am,you kissed her goodbye, she gets out,you say, goodnight, call you in the morning, and she leans in and says back" hey would you like to come up upstairs for a cup of coffee or a drink".Well in my experience that ended up being a way to get me upstairs, usually wasn't even offered a beverage,or was and wasn't allowed to drink it,wink. So the situation and the time of the day,and the way your invited means alot, otherwise yes, meeting a girl for coffee is just that ,it means I don't even know you enough to have a real date with you, type thing, its as sterile as it gets, very safe ground | |

I suspect some guys would think "toe jam" is code for sex.
It is.... seen a lot of foot fetish threads lately...

| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/10/2008 3:45:25 PM | well i detest coffee, it makes me chuck, even the smell of the awful stuff makes me chuck.................so no i dont like coffee dates.
most of the women ive met from off here were more sex mad than i were, i can remember one woman i met on here after an evening at the pub, we went back to her place ( i was stopping there ) and i was looking forward to a biscuit and a mug of tea, she made the drink of tea but all she wanted to do was thrash about on the carpet.....typical woman ......lol, anyway i kept stopping what we were doing and nibbling on the biscuit and sipping my drink.........i got friction burn on my knees too that night...............
not ALL guys associate coffee with sex, some would like to skip the awfull coffee stuff and get straight down to the serious stuff.

Or is there a secret code only you men know, please help me, and if there are any other "codes" I need to be aware of please let me know
OP, Funny thing I just recalled that there is a'secret code'! One fine morning as I read the paper at breakfast, the waitress asked if I wanted more coffee, without even so much as peering over the paper I said "yes", which obviously ensured my fate, the dreaded 'coffee/yes' code! The waitress proceeded to pour the 'coffee' over my hand!! [6 month relationship resulted!]
She was a doll, but had issues over a recent bad breakup. Nonetheless.....COFFEE=SEX!

| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/13/2008 6:40:25 AM | OK so far this forum has been pretty much gags etc, but few posters have attempted at seriously answering the question here.
It is ultimately to get a person away from one environment to another for without being upfront about it. Its more romantic to say to people (after the event) "I was invited in for coffee, so I went to their house for a coffee, then one thing kind of led to another..." rather than "I was asked if I wanted a shag". Ultimately though, it doesn't have to be coffee, it can be anything. Ever heard of the phrase "would you like to come back to my place and see my etchings?"
I've had the ol' "would you like to come in for a coffee" line used on me. What was funny about it though is that she was from out of town and staying in a hotel and when we entered the room I asked "where's the kettle?" and we spent maybe a minute or so looking for it before we just looked at each other and said "who cares?"
Still, no reason to be paranoid about it, just use your commonsense and better judgement!
|
| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/13/2008 6:49:26 AM | I'm assuming unlike others that you're doing "meet and greets" for coffee and the men are trying to get in your pants?
Those guys are pretty much saying, " I want to bang you now, because there'll be no second date" The reasons could vary from being married and only able to do quickies or he thinks your looks or personality sucks.
|
| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/13/2008 7:02:06 AM | "I declined as a naive person, saying that it was almost 1 am, and if I had coffee at that point I'd be up all night and went home"
That deserves a medal mate!! Nice one- Naieve or not!

| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/13/2008 11:34:33 AM | there are more randy women on here than you think who couldnt care less about a coffee or any drink................iff she wants sex then thats what she wants, of course when a woman is feeling quite randy she knows that 99 blokes out of 100 will not normally turn down any intimacy.
I however do like a mug of tea, a few biscuits before any form of intimacy............lol
a few bottles of WKDs and a good dvd with a cuddly woman is better than any romping about, moaning and groaning in bed......................lol
|
| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/13/2008 11:42:14 AM | | Ughh, are you guys still talking about coffee and sex? Gross. Those two things just don't go together. | |
|
| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/13/2008 2:17:55 PM | | I didn't know coffee meant anything but "Hi, I'd like to meet you." | |
|
| COFFEE = SEX????? Posted: 5/14/2008 6:53:50 AM | just imagine if it was that easy......................COFFEE= SEX.
There would be no coffee left in the shops.
If coffee guaranteed sex EVERY time then i guess most men and some women would just have to say "hi, fancy a coffee"...bam bam bam.
Shame i hate coffee.
tea anyone ????????????
