I can't believe you did not get a Mass mailer. Please make sure your zip code is displaying properly in your 'Edit' settings. If it's OK, there is probably a Moderator that could investigate.
POF sends their mass emails to zip codes in the area of the party. You CERTAINLY should have gotten one......I've had email responses from HARTLAND, for Gawd's sake...! And sorry....it's not a 'sign up list' that I control.....
As long as you keep checking the 'Michigan Singles Events' thread, you'll never miss a one!
And 'thanks' for the support to the 'newbies'! We'll have some sort of a meet-n-greet at this party....details are still being pondered......

Posted: 6/1/2008 6:29:16 PM | For those who are wondering about the band. It's awesome. They do Stevie Ray better than Stevie Ray did it. Chuck makes that guitar vibrate you. I love swing dancing to Pride and Joy.
They played out at Clawson Steak house for quite a while and it's more mature crowd out there. I'd bet that there won't be even one person who's disappointed with their music. | |

Butterfly, your post gives me a opportunity to vent somewhat......us hosts would SINCERELY appreciate two things:
1. (Lesser Importance) It is easier for headcount, BEADS! seating, waitstaff, etc, if we have a reasonably accurate idea of how many plan on coming. I understand why some don't wish to show that they are coming, Stalker Central or something like that......
2. (Greater Importance) If you sign up and CANNOT make it, PLEASE remove yourself from the party.....we all understand....but......
Many times users will show up specifically to meet an attendee that posts that they are coming......and do us hosts catch h*ll when they 'no show'! LOL!
So to answer your question, if you think you are coming, please sign up!
You can ALWAYS 'remove yourself' if you change your mind! Hope you don't, though!
