Posted: 5/22/2008 3:40:55 PM | scorp - if you want to organize a little dinner party before the music starts or while it's going on you can now edit the main post since I added you as a co-host.
One thing that you might want to know, however, is that the dining room is separated from the music - so, if you want to feel like you are with the group we have growing on this forum (which is likely to be even bigger by tomorrow night if last time is any indication) than you should request a table at the end of the bar near the windows so it's not right where the music and entrance is, but still close enough to where everyone is partying.

Maybe all the fish ARE STILL THERE? lol
Sooo SORRY I couldn't make it... ( LORD KNOWS I tried) Had some unexpected "road blocks" that prevented me from getting there.

It appeared that we had about 200 people show up and they all seemed to have a good time. I got some nice emails sent to me personally and I'm responding to them on the forum rather than individually because I'm pretty busy this week.
Thanks to all who came and helped make the event such a big success.

Posted: 5/28/2008 1:47:53 PM | | Rock and Rollers..... Keep Saturday, July 5th for a Rock and Roll Dance party at Cafe Nicole that will be open to more than just singles & POF members. Anyone want to host? If you are willing , it will probably be the easiest way to make friends and get compliments for doing virtually nothing that you'll ever have. I will help you with anything that you need. Please let me know asap so we can generate a BIG POF crowd. Jim (No. Brunswick Party) will DJ and I will coordinate PR by advertising this via press releases to wider audience, beyond POF, including couples. The POF/singles will get little fish stickers to identify themselves as single. I promise that this will be great and if it is, I hope we will be able to do it pretty regularly. | |
