Posted: 7/17/2008 8:46:19 PM | | JJ, Barbara will be getting there around 630ish she said....I'm worried I'll be getting there as the fireworks will be going off...and i don't want to have to walk or drive around for miles to get there.. well its late have to hit the hay! hopefully I'll see ya all tomorrow night..... pray for parking spots......Maybe i should find a guy with a motorcycle to drive me there.....Any takers????? or better yet car poolers??? | |

Posted: 7/18/2008 5:37:24 AM | Everyone should come into town via broad street (4) from rt 36. This route will avoid traffic from the fair.
Continue on broad to the water and follow the road (it becomes American Legion Drive.) On the left will be the maritime museum and as you continue you wil be in the parking lot behind the Bulkhead which is on the left. Find a spot to park your ride, put your smile and dancing shoes on.

Posted: 7/18/2008 7:37:12 AM | | I just heard that streets will be closed off in Keyport, especially down by the water/pier due to the fireworks at 9. I am from Hamilton and coming in the back door (Matawan -516 to Broadway). I don't know where the Bulk is but nevertheless to get into town. | |

Ohhhh please make it either the first two weekends or the last one in Aug. to close the summer or I won't be able to attend! : (
*BTW..the first weekend in Sept. is Biker Week (Roar to the Shore) in Wildwood with over 100,000 bikers and if you've never been...it's the place to be. It's 4 days with a bunch of friendly people, several motels and bars all in walking distance, and a lot of fun. If anyone needs info, let me know.
Okay guys..the pics are uploaded and I'm running late and out the door to the Highlands.

One Ocean Boulevard, Long Branch, NJ 07740 .
We will meet around eight o'clock to determine if the Ocean Place
Hilton is open to, and appropriate for, the August POF event.

Once all of the details are known I will post the event.

I plan to title this event 'Plenty Of Friends End of Summer Party.'
