Posted: 5/15/2008 4:44:05 AM | Sorry guys, we won't be making this camp,, I don't finish work till 630 friday night, too much of a squeeze, and I am not keen on the beach in the middle of winter,,, would have made a great location for summer though!
Have fun everyone and I will be thinking of you,,,,

Posted: 5/20/2008 6:04:42 AM | I have been flat out busy and havnt had time to create the event yet, It will definately be sometime in the middle of July....
the event will be created within the next few days....
I have already brought 2 bags of firewood for the weekend 
It will be cold, however, as we are camping on the beach a little further north, it shouldnt be too bad.... heaps of firewood, subzero sleeping bags... lots of fun and laughter... beats sitting at home on the weekend alone huh SE Qld?  
Mainey, I know its a long way for an overnighter for you so I promise we will have a beach camp over the summer holidays for you and the kids huh | |

The Pippies are everywhere ... The wine and beer from what I heard flows well.. to,.. apparantley.. Not that I would know.. | |

Mainey, just bring a warm sleeping bag and warm clothes to huddle around the fire in. And some foam sleeping mats to insulate the sleeping bags from the cold sand we'll be camping on.
See you all there, some at Tenterfield soon.

Posted: 5/31/2008 6:55:27 PM | gypsygal , why dont we have a kids fishing contest , there will be 3 prizes , first a fishing rod and real combo and some soft lures , second rod and reel combo , thrid some soft lures . i will put up the prizes
when i was growing up there used to be "take a kid fishing" contests , the winner was always picked by who cought the most or biggest fish , but who showed the most deternation. one child that won was a little girt with a bait fish , she worded so hard to land it and the expression on her face was priceless.
or this to happen it would be nice if there could be a few people that would be glad to offer some time to be judges. a panel of 5 would be good.

I hadn't heard of Inskip Point before....
here is a link with more information for those unfamiliar with the place...it may be a longer haul from Brisbane than Bribie...but sometimes the exotic and unfamiliar is well worth the trekking involved.
