| The slut factor Posted: 5/13/2008 4:50:30 AM | it may have one important quotent that has not been discussed, not naming name a good outfit hours of prep in the bathroom, hair dyes, even brest enhansments and a girdle will allow a woman who is interested in getting men's attention the results she desires. A harmless way of making it a sub conscious choice for a man. while a friendy bubbly girl practically has to buy you drinks to get you to notice her in that way or even "Ask You" shat it would take to get you in the mood. Egos aside both of you look like #hit anyway. I imagine Men wonder what other men would think of the union and women look for what other women like as well this world is lucky to be alive. I like to leer at them silently and go in for the kill when I see a weak and defenseless one. shoot with both barrels which she will interpet as Powerful job done.

| The slut factor Posted: 5/13/2008 1:20:40 PM | something .. sometimes I use the word dirty to discribe a women. Often I get the same sort of responce.. usually negative. But thats not the intent, I love a "dirty mind".
What I like about women is a sexy mind/body. "Dirty" is good in the sense I'm using it. Meaning dirty minded not dirty phyically. Meg Ryan would be a total goddess to me if was actually open and free to express herself sexually. Saying what she likes and so on would be a major turn on. Sure leather/skin is nice but thats the phyisical side. To me a woman with a dirty mind > dressing slutty. Problem is you actually have to talk to them to find out while you can look at a women dressed like a street whore and be like .. wow.

| The slut factor Posted: 5/13/2008 4:06:10 PM | ohhh eazk.. I love your post. It's so true the more a man accepts a woman being sexy and sensual the more she wants to make him feel good and let go. But sometimes it seems like men are intimidated by women who feel so comfortable with the guy that they want to give their all. The men's problem and loss. I think there are male sluts and female sluts.. people who are promiscious... unsafe... not necessarily sexy and sensual. My definition is someone who goes after anyone who they can get their hands on just to feed their ego.
However, I don't use the slut word to demean and control other women. I think men attempt to do this more to women and there is still a double standard out there in dating land.

| The slut factor Posted: 5/13/2008 4:17:17 PM | i love meg, but i will take angelina over her any day of the week. might be why brad left jennifer for her - some people have a certain air of assertiveness & sexual empowerment to them, i find that the most attractive combo ever, when paired w a good brain and good head on one's shoulder.
i do agree that looks can be deceiving... did u notice that most serial killers look like harmless nerds? look at btk. just cause a girl looks a certain way, don't mean u ain't got a big surprise coming

| The slut factor Posted: 5/13/2008 9:36:21 PM | | well, honestly i hear it most by woman , when they refer to another females whos enjoying themselves or b) when theyre trying to justify there sexual habits/ways...like sayimg" i just dont have sex. i need a commitment/relationship/love becaause im not a slut...to me that just makes medo a 360..fast.. as for men using the word derogatorily , most use it in anger,, when theyre angry at there partners, or in there social lifes, when theyre trying to drive home a point. ive made a mistake once, saying that to my ex gf, but meant it in agood way..just came out bad..but couldnt unring that bell!!! | |

Hmmmm Provocative, Seductive, erotic, alluring, tantalizing......OK...Slutty? Oh hell naw..... Confused here.... I dont believe that any woman would find being called slutty a good thing.

| The slut factor Posted: 5/13/2008 10:20:16 PM | | I looked up Meg Ryan pictures when I saw a movie from her prime. It's the ultra cute ones that make it seem so much more obscene to find naked pictures of. Which in it's own way is kinda hot. I know i'm not the only guy that sees a girl that's prime to take home and show the parents and gets to thinking "I wonder how wild and crazy she is..." Knowing a cute, intelligent or just plain abnormally "normal" woman's dirty secrets is usually 10 times better than hitting it with a girl you seriously half expect to be wearing jizz scented perfume when you go to talk to her. | |
|
| The slut factor Posted: 5/13/2008 10:28:17 PM | I think we're still in the double standard here; a slut, to me anyway, is just a woman who freely enjoys having sex, and will have sex with anyone (even someone elses partner) without caring one way or another. She just loves sex. Men that don't like 'sluts' are simply annoyed that there is a woman can act as a lot of men do, and more often if she is attractive. Women hate her because she offers free and easy sex to their partners, and they want to keep their partners under their own control, which women do by withholding sex; they lose that measure of control if he can get sex elsewhere easily. Me. I love sluts. I think they are wonderful. We need more sluts in the world, it would make it a better, more enjoyable place to live. | |

| The slut factor Posted: 5/14/2008 7:10:34 PM | meg ryan must be beside herself, not being able to make it in the porn industry. sob, everyone can't have everything. how sad for her.... .....she is now limited to quality men who "do it" with real live women versus their computer every night. poor poor meg. erotica versus porn. fine dining versus mc donald's. ladies, hand me the popcorn please! | |
|
| The slut factor Posted: 5/14/2008 7:13:10 PM | If every man had a meg ryan, there would not exist a porn industry and peace would cover all the world, a new era would dawn for mankind! (or a cameron diaz, or both, lol, ah yes and an uma). If each man had a meg, a cameron and an uma, oh my, there would be no wars, no unemployement, no recessions, no blood, no tears, only Luv! Luv! Luv!
Instead .... | |

|
| The slut factor Posted: 5/21/2008 5:30:43 AM | Somebody used the word provocative, and I think that works too. But, I see what the OP ment with "slut factor" and do not have a problem with it. I think the sexy/slutty part has more to do with attitude then looks. My little sister looks a lot like me, BUT, she is sweet and quiet and shy. And I am more flirty, teasing and touchy. And, the very polite quiet sweet men go and talk to her, and, I get more of the "lets go f*ck" guys. Does that make me a slut? No, because they may say it, but I don't do it. But, maybe the flirty/teasing attitude makes it appear that I am more "slutty" then my sister. And, it goes both ways. Men have the nice or slutty factor too. | |
|
| The slut factor Posted: 5/21/2008 5:42:09 AM | mike, As one or more others have asked ...and I have to wonder too for your choice of words, "slut" is a negative implication of a word used in your once-upon-a-time discussion w/ your buddies. "Sexy" implies confidence and assertiveness towards making their human condition a bit more bearable for the potential pleasure of all involved. IMO, "Slut" makes me think that someone is more arrogant and ignorant for the appeal they might think they possess for attracting a partner for such activity. "Slut" seems to be more the word that comes to too many men's minds when any sexy and beautiful woman says, "No, thanks" to their sexual advances.
It takes one to to know one? It takes less of of a man to label any woman a slut for her recognizing this for him beforehand.
|
| The slut factor Posted: 5/21/2008 6:25:41 AM | | There is a difference between sex appeal and slut factor, sex appeal has to do with how the woman feels about herself and her sexuality, i.e. confidence, slut factor has to do with how someone dresses and feels about themselves - and its not usually confidence. | |
|
| The slut factor Posted: 5/21/2008 7:03:07 AM | | You know what really bother me with all this "Slut Factor" talk? Why is it, that if a woman is "sexy" and actually enjoys sex she is labeled "Slut"? What about the man she had sex with???? Why is he exonerated, patted on the back, given an "at a boy"???? Why is it that you could not take a woman home to meet your Mother, Grandmother etc, just because she enjoys having sex with you? Maybe this is why so many men cheat on their wives???? Just my random thoughts on this double standard so many men have...sad isn't it. | |

I think that other women are more of a contributing factor regarding the label "slut". Guys may use the word sometimes but its not always in a negative context except for when maybe they had a girlfriend screw around on them. Women on the other hand use that word to describe other women they see and its always a very negative connotation. So really I think that women are more responsible for the negative implications of the word "slut". While guys that are "studs" or whatever are not typically looked at in a negative light from women. I believe it's women setting the tone in both cases. Of course I could be wrong but that is my opinion.
