If the weather it not too horendous i might come to this one on the bike to see how it handles the wet :) Gotta love heated handgrips and those wonderful foot warmers out each side. | |

I know I haven't put my name up for this ride - family stuff that might happen, but Pete has gone to a lot of trouble to organise yet another great day out.
With all those names on the list it would be a shame for anyone to miss out. Car pooling is a fantastic idea and for all those that love to socialise you can get plenty in the car.

I've just been up the "Goldy" for the Blues, which I might add, has been moved indoors to various venues, & sure it's windy but no rain at the moment. Sure showers are forcast for Sunday but I think it's a little premature to cancel 2 days before the run is on. Hold the faith & check on Sunday morning for sure. The odd shower never hurt anyone.

I am looking at the radar ATM and if its like it is now , I would go. I would even ride the bike. BUT , I seem to have contracted a chest infection from too many late nite rides to and from NSW. I hope it lifts and I feel better by tomorrow , but I too dont want to be sick for Tentafield. I have suggested going in the car with Ingrid , but she is putting the brakes on that one if the weather is rotten tomorrow.
SO , EVERYONE PLEASE LOOK AT THIS FORUM TOMORROW MORNING BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE RIDE AS I WILL POST IF ITS ON or CANCELLED.
I dont want to cancel , but it will be out of my hands if its not dry(ish) and Im not riding. Keep you all informed.

Therefore, if you need a hand with anything tomorrow I am more than happy to help, if you prefer to go in a car for health reasons, then I'll happily lead the bikes etc............
You need to be right for next weekend as its gonna be awesome !!!
Looking at the forecast etc and BOM at the moment ( 2pm ) I reckon it will be OK but maybe a few showers is all ( hopefully )...................  | |

Update , I have been to the doctors and now have drugs and am going back to bed in a sec for some more rest. If its like it is now I will be going on the bike regardless , if there is a chance of getting wet , I would like to go in the car , but we will see about that.

well, rain, hail or snow, i'll be there at 9am...actually, i lie, if theres hail or snow, i will pull out too. :-)
i'll re-check in the morning as Pete suggested to ensure its not cancelled, if it is though, i will still take a small cruise around....work gave me the day off solely for this ride, if they dont see me at samford meeting point, i will be expected to work...lol, aint gonna happen!
