| What does your profile name mean?
Posted: 7/19/2009 7:15:33 AM | I was always a big fan of Japanese culture and I thought the term ronin was fitting. I was raised by a single mother who died of cancer when I was sixteen; I started using the name shortly after that and it stuck with me.

Posted: 8/3/2009 6:21:01 PM | I tried about nine different usernames, and the system didn't accept any of them. So, I picked one of the biggest words I know (it's a species of ape from about 3 million years ago: Australo = southern; pithecus = ape). Besides, sometimes I challenge myself to use ridiculous words in a sentence, and one day it was Australopethicus (on other occasions, it has been "plebs rusticus," "hickocracy" or "antedeluvian"); sort of a psychotic game I play.
Australopethicus, as far as we know, didn't use tools, and is not directly related to us (that would be homo habilus, a tool user co-existent with Australopethicus, it is thought - they did use tools, and may possibly have invented language - far too clever for me).
Besides, I enjoy making people seek out Wikipedia. | |

I never gave the snakes names, just he and she and the gecko is just "the lil guy". That would have been an odd profile name for a woman....the lil guy. Might have indicated I was a cross dresser, haha. | |
