China and Burma (Myanmar) are two countries with (possible? potential?) over-population problems. Am I the only one who thinks that the respective governments secretly (or even publicly???) don't care about these earthquakes too much or even secretly welcome them as long as they're safe in their own residences? I suspect that is why Burma says, 'nah, you keep the food...' China needs to protect or work on their image (not to mention having the largest military so lots of people to act). That's the only diff.
