The only race I do not date is the race of stupid. Sadly, they are quite numerous.
Stupidia is a depressingly vast land though, and its émigrés have spread all over North America. Where Stupidia is, no one knows because its people are too stupid to point it out on a map, but I'm certain it exists.
Luckily (or not so luckily), "Stupids" assimilate quickly and completely into regular society, so the use of logic is not yet considered a hate crime. "Smacking some sense into them" might be though, and besides, it's quite ineffective. | |

I am so tired of conversations that use that term as if it has any scientific validity. The jury is in folks, it doesn't exist...there is only an endless rainbow of genetic ancestry that WE all can share regardless of what is on display externally!
that said, people have preferences. Not all preferences are the same, that must be accepted.
Just out of curiosity , if she is not "white" or "hispanic" what is she?

South African (Coisan)

I've dated quite a few black women and I live in a pretty near white washed part of the country. It's not easy for inter racial couples. Some people don't want the headaches that come with it, so you can't really blame people for preferences (personally i grew up an east coast punk so not much bothers me, but i digress). Let me just say this, there are a lot of white men that don't look at race or happen to like black women especially. Though it helps to live in a more "liberal" part of the country.
Frankly I think you'll have better luck finding a white male outside of the south. There I said it and I don't care what outrage you southern people fling at me, I've lived there, I know how it is, stop pretending your multicultural and don't look at race. And as far as Texas goes, don't even get me started talking about my Texan friends, they make my NYC gutter punk friends from back in the day look like choir boys and bastions of tolerance. Now....if your friend puts "other" in the race catagory, she needs to elaborate in the profile what she means, because "other" could mean E.T. or bigfoot or a mermaid or who knows what.
If people assume your friend is white from blurry pics they're just dumb. | |

People of every race feel that somebody else is getting more/better/preferable forms of attention; it's never true across the board. It's rarely even true of a person who has a so-called "set preference," since people's preferences are usually more elastic than they care to admit.
If we all said that we preferred White/Black/Asian/Hispanic/whatever people on our profiles, not only would we be limiting ourselves, we'd be lying. We'd be lying even if we didn't know it because preferences tend to become mutable when we meet someone who's ridiculously attractive and/or charming--no matter what ethnic heritage that person has.
Agreed.
The only race I do not date is the race of stupid. Sadly, they are quite numerous.

If you don't have it, yes, you can get it 'done' that way, but it's eventually going to grow back all curly. And from what I've seen in life, after you get married many women expect to be loved for 'who they really are' and that long silky hair may never be seen again. I've had women message me on dating sites to trash me because I'm a redneck, and for some reason, they think redneck=racist (it doesn't)
So why the heck would I post that I'm willing to date certain races that aren't my own, and unwilling to date others.
I could post positive reasons I'd date the other races that I will, and not post anything about why I wouldn't date others, I'd still be trashed.
But for the record, a chick doesn't have to be white or Latina for me to date. I'm all about Asian chicks too. In fact, I won't lie, foreign women tend to get a closer look from me than American born women that aren't try southern belles.
Foreign women tend not to have the sense of entitlement that most American women have. They know how to recognize a good man and how to make him happy. Country girls tend to excel at this too. But every day, average American women think they are owed the world, they expect to be treated like a princess, but prefer the guy to be a servant, not a prince. | |

Frankly, if Beyonce emails , for most guys there is going to be a very different reaction than if Queen Latifah emails. Just like the difference in attention between a Rosie O' Donnell and Cameron Diaz. I can't think of latina equivalent. I don't think it has as much to do with race as looks/physical appearance. I think the visual predisposition has to do more with biologocal urges than racism or anything like that. | |

However, I have a definite desire to eventually date women from anywhere across Asia, and from the different areas of South America, the Pacific Islands... hell, seriously I'm good for a girl from just about anywhere and of any race.
The more different a woman is from me, the more intriguing and hot things I find about her. It's just more ambrosia for me. Different desires, different body shapes, different culture and dress and new things to find.
I can't imagine wanting to date the same race/nationality of woman over and over. | |

For one dating is not marriage, it just boils down to meeting someone and maybe becoming friends. Dating is not meant to be so serious, but I find many people take it very seriously and so they reject people for all kinds of shallow reasons.
Yes we all have preferences, but because dating is not marriage, why not just date someone and get to know them? It doesn't mean you will marry them, and that's why we don't have to apply our marriage "preferences" to every person we date. | |
