| Low maintenace? you decide Posted: 5/30/2008 6:19:58 PM | there was a recent high profile divorce in our media......
she the 20 year old beauty queen - he the 60 something tyre magnate. they married, had kids etc etc. things turned ugly 20 years later and she filed for divorce and also of course him withholding money, credit cards blah blah blah......
it turns out she was given a monthly expense of $30,000 - eg $360,000 PA just for personal expense. this was not for the day to day living costs. for household bills, children or food, this was just for her to play with!!
now that is what I call "high maintenance" ........... now she has had to drop court proceedings because she can't afford the solicitor fees and court costs.
some men are naive enough to make women high maintenance and then some women are naive enough to think it will last forever.
my mother always told me when i was married- make sure you always have some 'get away' money stashed somewhere because you will never know when you will need it! i think this chick should have taken that on board.
but seriously, if a woman starts to make financial demands on you (even if only in her profile) i would say - run, forrest, run.......... | |

| Low maintenace? you decide Posted: 6/23/2008 9:48:55 PM | Pretty pointless. My experiences have been: 1) High maintenance, knows they're high maintenance, and acts accordingly. 2) High maintenance, believes they're low maintenance, but acts to the former. 3) Believes I am high maintenance therefore they become higher maintenance than their (incorrectly) perceived low maintenance status. 4) Low maintenance, believes they're high maintenance, and has to be reminded of hygiene. 5) Low maintenance, knows they're low maintenance, has to be reminded to take their meds. The majority of my experience tends to vacillate between #2 and #4. | |
