Now, on to bigger and better...
Well, duh, Homer...how many kids, and I'm talking 10, 11, 12 year-olds, do you know that are more concerned about self respect OR self control over being cool with their peers??? Have you ever done a survey to find out WHY people start smoking??? If not, your opinions mean sh*t...
So what the hell are you doing within half a foot of a smoker??? Personally, I consider arms length away to be my OWN personal space, so if someone comes into MY personal space, they wouldn't be there long enough for me to exhale my wretched, vile, disgusting cigarette smoke in their face...and if I did, take it as a hint to back the hell off...
Wow, you go, boy...wish I signed that petition instead of the Save The Baby Seals petition. And, if you have a no smoking by-law now, what ARE you complaining about, exactly. Holy God, you have friends that listen to you???
We are treated as lepers, I would think, because of people like you who feel it's your undying commitment to save the world. You ask is it really so hard to just put it down...well, what the hell do you think, Sherlock??? If it was so easy to put down, do you think it would be called an ADDICTION...say it with me....A~D~D~I~C~T~I~O~N. Actually, I adore my addiction, especially when I have to listen to jerks spewing at the mouth...gives me something to do until they STFU.

Sometimes it backfires when were talking for a while and i light up another one with my own lighter lol... They generally don't care at this point but there has been a few were they check their pockets to be sure I didnt steal it. Bothering someone for a cigarette either shows your broke, needy or just downright annoying to bother a stranger. | |

I'd say these girlies were asking you because one of those same reasons. OR they are the type that "only smoke when they drink".
Because none of us were actually there to see HOW she approached you or carried herself... we can't give you a definite answer but those are my guesses.
Either way... if she was someone you found attractive, it was a perfect opportunity for you to carry on a conversation with her.
