I agree with Kaylie - flirt/e-mail with whomever, until there is a standout that actually seems interested in a RELATIONSHIP. Too many times I've spent time concentrating on one person, only to have it not work out. Usually because he met someone else at the same time, been talking to us both, dated once or twice, and now he's decided I'm wonderful, but she is really the ONE for him....
So, after being disappointed too many times, I changed to not looking, and I flirt shamelessly with whomever decides to 'find' me - whether via e-mail or at local events.
Now, if one of them actually goes out with me in the interest of possible romance, say more than 1-2 times, then I'm shutting down all other pursuits until that relationship is resolved, either with happy ending or tragic heartache... | |
