My Aunt's little Pug puppy Daisy...she jumps up on me and licks me and likes being hugged.
The rain makes me smile.

'Mom if your going to work today, I think I am gonna have to come with you and make sure no one is mean to you... I dont want no one being mean to my mom' and then he makes the hulk face.. he thinks he is everything. But I think so too.

| what puts a smile on your face? Posted: 10/5/2004 11:10:53 AM | About 2.5 years ago, my youngest son (now 5) was diagnosed with a degenerative brain dissorder. I was told he would never speak, walk or talk. He has been in a residential facility since then for intensive therapy. About 3 weeks ago, on a visit to the house where he lives, he had just finshed a physical therapy session and was in his wheel chair by the front door where my older son (6) and I were standing. He turned his head around to see who was at the door and instantly yelled out,"Mommy!!" He leaned forward, slid out of his chair and with the help of the arm of the wheelchair, hobbled up on two weak little legs and made his way over to me and said,"I love you Mommy! I missed you! Hi, my brother, too!" The words,"Would never walk or talk again" rang through my ears and then hearing and seeing what I did........well, medical science can go to hell!!! God performed another one of his miracles in my Baby Boy. Since that day, he's been progressing forward. I can't think of anything else that could put a bigger smile on my face other than the birth of my boys. Maybe being told that I was pregnant not once but twice? All in all, what puts a smile on my face? The power of God and the blessings He bestows upon us. (I was told I was sterile for 16 years) | |
