Why is it that it's okay to show a naked head, but not a naked breast? Or that a bare breast except with just a nipple-covering is okay, but with just an areola peeking out, and it's really nude? Why does it that when a woman's rear is completely uncovered, she's considered naked, but when she has a G-string covering, it's okay? Why is it that a woman would be embarrassed to go to a public beach in her underwear, which provides substantial covering, but be okay with just a bikini, which shows much more skin? Why is it when a woman is in a bikini on the beach, there's nothing obscene about it; yet, if she were to enter a crowed room in the same bikini where everyone else was fully dressed, it would be far more stimulating to a male, as she would appear practically naked? | |

Thanks to that "pioneer" Gwyen Jacobs back in the early 80's it is LEGAL here for women to go topless - same as a guy. We are SOOOO PC here at the center of the known Galaxy!!! I remember the excitement when the judge ruled AGAINST the obscenity charge they dumped on here that HOT spring when her buddies took off their Tshirts to walk around Guelph and SHE DID TOO. The prospect of downtown Toronto looking like a National Geographic photo shoot in deepest Afreeka was palpable. We waited and waited ....
Alas it never happened.
What I can't fathom is the movie classification board. Show folk being brutalized, ripped to pieces, bullets ripping, brains a'splattering, organs splashing off walls and limbs reduced to lawn fertilizer. Eyeballs bouncing around like a ping pong game gone wrong and ... it gets a G rating. ANYBODY including breast feeding babies are welcome. Great fun for the family!!!
SHOW A NIPPLE and it is RESTRICTED. 18 and OVER ONLY. SHOW ID or be arrested for even trying to get in.

Why is it that if a females nipple shows, it is considered obscene? Her whole boob can be showing but if the nipple is covered then it's not considered illegal. But if her nipple shows, it's illegal.
I don't get it. What is it about the female nipple that makes it so "scary"?

I agree with this statement! LOL I live in Florida, they need to ban man boobs, if I can't show my nips in public they shouldn't be allowed to either! I want to let "the girls" breathe too.... but when I do that I get a ticket for indecent exposure  Even though they are VERY damn decent indeed! lol | |

Quite obviously the cops had to go up to where a steamy GQ shoot was taking place simply to ensure that nothing untoward was on display. I'll bet they didn't even really want to go ...but nipple exposure is such a serious problem in society that they did it. They really took one for the team. Such dedication. Bravo. | |
