Think/summer....what are your plans for this May longweekend?

Well nothing major here. About to drop the 3 older kids off at grandma's for the day(or part of it at least), will clean and purge their bedrooms while they are gone. Going to scrub the barbeque grill this afternoon in preparations of using it for the first time(got it almost 4 years ago, but have always been too scared it would blow up when I light it to ever use it, yikes) . Rest of the weekend is a combination of housework and yardwork, before the rain starts next week. Pretty boring weekend for sure.

What? Nobody wants to go dancing at Duggan Hall? It's lots of fun!
Indy and I are going. Anyone else care to join us?
Oh, and we're at Blues on Whyte this afternoon too.

Just set up the hammock on the deck so my plans are to lay on it and read a book. Also, I might go to the Kootenays to visit some family.

Wonderful weather!!

^^^You might want to make some calls for a road report. Big landslide just east of Revelstoke. Transcanada is closed there until further notice....up to two days.

My girlfriend is still on her way here from Revelstoke and left 10 hours ago. Had to take a detour and was almost at the US border before she finally started heading in the general Calgary direction.

Hydro.

Nothing fun or exciting

Today ... cleaning and preparing for tomorrow’s open house

Tomorrow ... going to my mother’s during said open house and continuing to get HER place ready to put on the market

Monday ... more chores and errands and hopefully a little bit of time to relax before the next frantic work week begins ... *sigh*

Worked saturday, came home BBQ some filet migon, and drank a bottle of red wine with a friend as our children played with the hose. then we shared Birthday cake for my tots 3rd b-day

Sunday I work also.

Monday we will hit the banff hot springs,
tuesday maybe the zoo?

And honestly people do you really need your Cable/Sat TV working in your RV? Is it that essential for camping? grrrrrrrrrrrrr

So did everyone have fun?

I did bike one day (and my knees will remind me of that for the rest of the week).
Watched a really good movie, "P.S. I love you" - one fine jerker!

Hope everyone had at least part of their plans, if not all, fulfilled.

Did anyone get caught in that nightmare of traffic on highway 1 or 1A last night returning to Calgary?
Or did you try to wiggle through the traffic nightmare?

We wiggled, and finally found our way home.......... after seeing much of the countryside.
