Bewitched I have been humbled....um so in fact has the whole city of Geelong....mmmm would have paid a fortune for that prediction. The better team won and I admit that....

Posted: 5/24/2008 3:40:42 AM | I've been to a couple of tarot card readers and astrologists and I believe if they are good readers then it can be a worthwhile experience. Don't get me wrong I don't believe that a pack of cards or a bunch of rocks spinning around in space hold any magical powers to predict one's future.
I see the tarot cards and suchlike as kind of language that the reader uses to question their clients to find out what it is that they want and then feed it back to them in a positive way, much the same way that a good councillor will.
Personally, out of all the esoteric personality/mind reading techniques I think dream interpretation is the most plausible and useful. I don't believe someone else can interpreter your dreams for you, but if you learn to recognise what the people and places etc in your dreams symbolise then it's a good way to get in touch with your sub-conscious mind. | |

I have to agree with that even if the predictor is a complete charlatan perhaps by giving the person hope in their life by "predicting" that the man of their dreams or the perfect job is just around the corner then they are giving that person hope and positivity to embrace the future rather than hide from and fear it.
The predictors however that deliver bad news and make people fearful and upset should be shot. | |

Posted: 5/24/2008 1:29:06 PM | I had my first dream of prediction at 14.. 2 weeks before the event occurred... told my mum while i was still half asleep....
so when it happened 2 weeks later exactly as the dream.....
anyhoo i learnt alot from that dream and i still remember that 1 vividly....
my mum has full respect if i tell her any dream i have...
ive had a few for her...
dreaming is my passion. when i was younger id try and go to sleep so i could dream...
ive travelled in my dreams... went to washington.. gave bill clinton my opinion on a certain situation lol..
 but that was a long time ago.... way before monica...
ive been to ireland... stayed in a packpackers... darn subconcious couldnt even spring for a decent motel.....lol
met a murderer there.... i knew this guy had murdered someone ...
I had a dream twice about a guy... i still dont know why... in the dream i learnt his star sign/name.. full name........ etc.... was weird.. after the 2nd time i looked up the name in ph book. was unusual spelling.... yep there was 1 name in the book...
that blew me away... i ended up ringing it........
got his wife.. every detail was correct...... i still dont know why i dreamt it though ... b/c in the dream he was widowed.. i didnt tell her that.... my gut feeling was for her to get her health checked out though....( and no she in no way felt threatened or scared.....)
i have dreamt..(after many years/much praying/meditation )... of my hopefully future man....... i saw his face clearly... like if id known him.. met him.... i was abit surprised....b/c he isnt who id normally be attracted too... but theyve never worked....
i have a couple people contact me... asking/// what he was like or more so the dream of him... how i knew etc.......
well..... dreams can be very layered... so im still trying to be open minded re the looks/...etc....... what is most important is how he felt....... the energy .. of him..... i dont want to limit myself from my dream......to looks.. but hopefully... when i met him.... i will feel that same vibe/energy as i did and thus recognise him..
but if he looks like he did in my dream... id be more than happy..
edit.... that dream is actually what inspired me to join this dating site.... b/c obviously after seeing the guy in my dreams.. my question was well how do i meet you?... i hardly go out..... so. this was at least an attempt to try find him.....lol. hasnt worked so far...
now why the hell didnt i get his name in the dream?...that woulda been handy

So were you lucid dreaming (aware that you were dreaming and so controling your actions in the dream), it would be so cool to be able to do this.
I heard a story about three guys that were involved in university study about lucid dreaming, aparently all three could control their dreams. As part of the study the three of them were to try and meet up in their dreams, so they picked a location and a time and went off to sleep.Only two of them managed to meet up, but when they woke and asked the third what had happened he said he was trying to get there but missed the bus. | |

ummm. no i dont control the dreams.. whilst im in there,....
but my fav time is first thing in the morning..... waking naturally.. going from dream..... to awake to dream... i go into what i call the 3rd state of conciousness....im not awake but im not asleep...
usually my spirit is autmoatically meditating/praying..... so whatever is current comes up.... (bit like a defrag,,)
at those times ive gone back to my dreams... yes... sorta put it on pause for a minute..
at times recently... ive felt concious that im dreaming... not realising im asleep.. sorta drift off...lol..
anyhoo ive been thinking since my post... im going to ask before i go to sleep next...to find out how to contact dream guy.....
but my instinct is i have something to do first.. in why the timing... (cut down smoking at the least)..
ive actually had a couple guys try and tee up. when im going to sleep for me to dream about them... happened once.... but not with the other 1...... he came out all inspired..lol.. and fancied himself as a writer.. he wrote short story.. then poetry.. he didnt know he could be good at it..

A few weeks later, while waiting for some lost puppy to turn up on my doorstep, I fostered a young girl of mixed descent (black father, white mother). went to one in olinda and he just rambled about nothing in particular lol i just went hunting for his tape but it seems to have vanished into the ether.....
by the way,puffing billy is in belgrave and as far as i know kerry kulkens daughter now runs the shop - it was closed the last time i went past though.
i also had one of those "walk by" experiences....walking with my daughter and a woman stopped me and asked me to come and sit , she needed to tell me some things....she asked if it was ok to talk in front of my daughter as she was about to talk about my then husband....she said i must get out-imedietly - and she described the situation very ,very accurately...she told me some things that i hadnt discussed with a living soul....i took her warning seriously - it was an amazing experience | |
