If he starts spending too much time with it, instead of me...or gets off more to it than to me...or starts looking at kids, animals, or snuff films, I'd start putting limits on it - or leave.

| why do some girls get so worked up over porn? Posted: 5/31/2008 7:58:49 AM | Mind you, watching two men snogging, would also be boring, I hasten to add!

Yeah Devuckhka., they are lazy (and boring), have no imagination of their own, know nothing of the beauty of woman (awww that's so sad), have no idea how to get what they want (only to watch someone else getting it, lol) and are emotionally disabled. No wonder women freeze in their presence and they end up watching porn.

Fancy being in a relationship and watching porn, well, before the passing of ten years like. AND expecting one's partner to like that! Hahahaha, suicidal or what? Some men freak out if a woman has a battery friend and you're moaning about porn? Hahahaha. Not that we women have any battery friends of course and we never, ever watch porn.

Well, that's fine 'for them' but I hope you've recovered from your trauma.
I have a visual memory (can't think of the specific term) and I can still see it. They were in a bathroom in a bar and the nuckleheads didn't lock the door.

| why do some girls get so worked up over porn? Posted: 5/31/2008 8:35:02 AM | When I was a little girl (last week like), I accidentally walked in on a friend of one of my brother's, sitting on the loo, so I quite understand. The vision of him engaged in this activity with his troosers round his ankles haunted me for years, but I'm ok now.
Anyway, I think what the op. is trying to say is that he 'wished' girls would get worked up over porn?

| why do some girls get so worked up over porn? Posted: 5/31/2008 8:41:50 AM | I would be more surprised to have a man tell me he had never watched porn.. most have watched it at some point and generationally speaking moving out on your own and sampling all that life has to offer opens the door to all sorts of things... in your 20's and 30's... I have watched movies with my ex in the past. Although yes it's fantasy I also had my mind open to "possibilites" and things I could try or wouldn't try... or can't understand why?
I realize that men are visual, they become turned on as been told to me by MEN the wind only needs to blow just right and they are sprung...
I do hear that porn has finally been made with more of a woman's fantasy in mind, altho I admit I haven't watched. My experience 20 yrs ago was that the opening scene was pure "action" and yes, to a degree it was a turn on, later when watching it a few more times I had to laugh because it was definitely geared for men..ready, set, action... no plot, not even dinner...geesh... I think a memorable movie was Alice in Wonderland, at least it had a story book plot altho somewhat distorted...
I have looked online when it was included on a forum site not here mind you, but it was a room full of men cumming on a barely 18 's face... over and over again... in her eyes, in her mouth and it did turn my stomach... it was that mob mentality, imaging rape to me... she seemed quite content, but in reality she wouldn't be...
Watch Jody Foster in the Accused... it is still difficult to watch for me... and there was a woman who seemed to "ask for it".... a whole arguement of does porn cause crime? not that it was in the movie, my point is, she danced around seemed to enjoy the attention, maybe wanted it to a degree, but then the pack mentality set in and there was no stopping it.. men watch a woman in porn and she'll take on the whole lot or one... matters not... but how many men separate fantasy/reality when they indulge all the time?
My ex watched some deviant porn at a bachelor party... and it was golden showers, needles piercing the nether regions, and high heeled doms standing on his..... fill in the blank...
What do we deem as innocent arrousal porn, cause it is what guys do? as in everything in life lines are drawn but where?
If a lover wants to experiement and it's ok between the couple then go for it... for some it's coming on her face, stomach where ever... but some may not like it and compromising in a relationship is what keeps the relationship alive... give/take... that's is what makes the world go round...

a whole arguement of does porn cause crime?
As much as watching a Western about train robbers causes people to go out and rob trains, porn may inspire someone to commit a crime. I maintain that the person was a robber or rapist before viewing the movie, though.
but how many men separate fantasy/reality when they indulge all the time?
Most stable men are able to seperate fantasy and reality without any problems.
I like chocolate cake. I indulge in chololate cake once in a while, but I realize that it's unrealistic and unhealthy to eat chocolate cake all the time.
and compromising in a relationship is what keeps the relationship alive... give/take... that's is what makes the world go round...
Bingo!
"Honey, I rented a movie for us, tonight." *Hands him a porn, while she pops PS I Love You into the DVD player*

If anybody actually thinks that they would be moaning and groaning for free, they are ignorant! Second, there is no such thing as healthy porn! Maybe your done deed is healthy because, seriously, who wants blue balls. Third, animal and prego is not porn, it's just distugusting!

| why do some girls get so worked up over porn? Posted: 5/31/2008 1:02:25 PM | | Porn doesn't bother me in the slightest. I suppose it is degrading to a point, but these women have chosen to make a career out of it so I don't really feel sorry for them. So as long as a guy doesn't expect me to behave like the girls in these videos and watching them doesn't take precedence over the real thing, I don't have a problem with it. | |

| why do some girls get so worked up over porn? Posted: 5/31/2008 3:30:49 PM | mmmm lots and lots of answers to this one ..but , i would say that as foolish as it may seem , it makes women feel 'in adequate' ....but on the other hand , if i were to be watching a porn flick and my partner walked in ( if i had one ) i'm sure he wouldnt object , and worry about the size of his 'manhood' etc ..and the fact that his six pack diminished years ago .
women take it all FAR TOO personally ...which is sad ...i like to watch it , odd, straight, gay ,what ever is getting passed around in work ....
a gay friend of mine once swapped me some porn ...he gave me hours and hours of thai boy on boy porn , with the ice cream van music in the back ground ...quite sureal ....

| why do some girls get so worked up over porn? Posted: 5/31/2008 7:01:11 PM | I had a girlfriend in the past who had trouble with alcohol. This did not cause me to despise all women who have a glass of wine from time to time. No matter what activity you can think of...there will be some who abuse it. It should not cast a shadow on the vast majority who can behave maturely and responsibly. I've thought long and hard over the years about whether or not porn is degrading to women..and I firmly believe it is..but no more so than it is to men. It is not misogynistic or exploitative. These are adults making decisions. If we truly believe in equality for women we must believe they are capable of deciding whether or not to be in porn or to be prostitutes or in any other job in the sex trade. Men, by and large, do not view these images as a part of reality. They are fantasy. And no, we do not compare you to them, because most women in the porn movies can't screw or give good oral to save their life. It's all about the camera angle. I swear if some woman gave me the fake "oohh that feels so good" look , I would laugh my ass off. We know they and the show is fake. We have the mandatory scenes..oral for guy, oral for girl, doggy style, girl on top, missionary, ..finished. Sex with a SO is much better than what you see on porn... I do like amateur porn..real people..real sex...seems more voyeuristic than pornographic to me. So no ladies, we don't want you to do what we see in the movies, we don't want you to have nasty fake boobs or wear high heels to bed (okay maybe heels one in awhile ). We want you to have fun and enjoy yourself..that's the biggest turn on to a guy. | |

| why do some girls get so worked up over porn? Posted: 5/31/2008 7:07:43 PM | For most women in the industry, they will be nothing more than a blip on the scope. And they will have to look at other means of financial support such as prostitution and exotic dancing.
But yet again, others have been able to move into main stream entertainment like Ginger Lynn and Marilyn Chambers. And the thing is even though these two women I use as examples are financially secure, they're still cranking out porn films taking advantage of the milf/cougar genre.
Something to think about.

| why do some girls get so worked up over porn? Posted: 5/31/2008 10:13:49 PM | "" I maintain that the person was a robber or rapist before viewing the movie, though""
Obviously a person has it "in them" to commit rape, robbery, sexual molestation of a child, or even a slaughter ... before they watch it over and over and over again. But, you seriously think it doesn't give those people that little "push" to make their fascination reality? Again, look into the history of some cases before you dismiss the effects porn, kiddie porn, and slasher movies have on SOME (already weak) minds.
"" Most stable men are able to seperate fantasy and reality without any problems""
Agreed that MOST MEN are able to seperate fantasy and reality. In fact, it is likely a very small percentage who cannot ... but they are out there.
Yeah, I am old-fashioned, but I just don't see the need for porn ... slasher movies ... or any form of media or entertainment that can negatively affect some members of society. Some evidence of the effects just speaks for itself, but not many choose to hear it...
I maintain that if people need to watch fake people p!ssing on each other or a girl being pounded in the a$$ for 20 minutes or watch 3 guys cumming all over a girls face to get aroused ... it is a sad state of affairs.

| why do some girls get so worked up over porn? Posted: 6/1/2008 12:27:20 AM | Men in general don't care for most "girly" flicks, but they also don't care that women like "girly" flicks. Yeah, watch all you want, I'll be in the garage getting greasy, or in the bathroom "reading" Playboy.
Women watch some romance and tell their man that the guy in the movie did such and such and said so and so. The boyfriend says "That's a bunch of BS." or "No man would act that way." then he goes back to playing his video game and grabs another snack from the fridge. The next day he doesn't even remember what movie you went to see. It's a non-issue. Romances are fantasy, so what? So is porn.

| why do some girls get so worked up over porn? Posted: 6/1/2008 12:33:58 AM | If someone wants to get paid for having sex, let em. If someone wants to get paid to get peed on or crapped on, go for it. The problem is that it is not safe sex and porn stars end up with stds or aids. That is what happens when one has unprotected sex with hundreds of people.
I have no problem with single men watching porn but if you say you love someone how can you get off watching porn? That is disrespectful to your partner and tells her she is not good enough for you. She needs to have DDD sized breasts, she needs to be rake thin, she needs to be all plastic. What is lovely to make her think that way.
I am not bashing single men watching it but if you love someone, it is not morally right to watch porn. Your g/f should turn you on and you should not need it.

I mean, your boyfriend should provide all the romance you need, there's no reason at all to watch Brad or George flirt with Catherine and Julia, right?
