| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/22/2008 12:46:34 PM | | Susie, this is not the guy that I met at BBB that night, finally got rid of him, well sort of, he still calls/texts, but he played hard to get too long so I gave up on him. I don't chase after ANY man, at least none that I have found worth it yet. | |

I think that's GREAT advice. I find too many times we gals are "chasing" a man either by making concessions we'd not make with anyone else or going out of our way to accomodate them. And I'm not talking about acceptable compromise either. The most independent, strong willed woman can often be found to ge a giddy, worrisome schoolgirl doing the craziest if not most stupid of stuff when the right man is involved. We women are such odd creatures.

| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/23/2008 7:19:57 AM | LOL Shell...this is not some subliminal message to this girliefriend of yours, is it?? ;O) LMAO
OK...some not so serious "addictions", but more of "indulgences" that I have...
Doritos with whipped cream cheese! Certain television shows! Jaeger Bombs?! LOL Pajamas! (for someone who sleeps nekkie...I have TONS of PJs!) Blankies! (I am the type who cannot turn down a microfiber throw and I keep them everywhere in my house!) A good bottle of wine! (A good Port will scream my name from the shelves!)

| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/23/2008 11:45:21 AM | wowza, I found out that I am addicted to my caffeine... I had to get a stress test done today and right now I am radioactive LOL ... I am ok.. PRAISE GOD... but I couldn't have caffeine for 24 hours prior... man oh man the first thing I did.. drank my green tea that I had waiting in my car chilled. Then when I got home, had to get me a diet coke... now that is bad.. but I guess I could have worse addiction without a doubt. The scary part, I usually just have one bottle of green tea throught the day and my diet coke in the morning on the way to work.
my dad used to tell me all the time, let them chase you!

Ok Shelle, have you been following me around... this sounds like my life... ggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I am single right now... on purpose....need time to heal but when I do get into a relationship I am 110% there. I am one of these women that don't realize I compromise TOO much. So, I am working at taking care of me right now. ~~~ finally~~~

| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/23/2008 1:31:47 PM | Are addictions a good thing..............maybe , maybe NOT!
I think ....maybe some are okay...............but harmful ones are just that harmful and not good for any of us!
So I try to watch and be careful to NOT get addicted to anything or anyone..........I have been there and done that....and NOW that I am taking care of me in all areas of my life...........I can let go and take care of ME....which is so vital.....to me!
LET GO and LET GOD.......try to live this way!
But I have to say....my garage sale addiction is something I truly enjoy! Who doesn't LOVE a good bargain! Jeannie

^^Are you sure ya' did not leave out piercings?? ;O) LOL
I used to be a piercer and I own a body jewelry business. Trust me I only have a few, but used to have a lot more when I was a piercer. They are not addicting I just like them. Tattoos on the other hand are addicting lol. Oh another addiction I left out Chevy's Mexican, Lay's original really salty chips, Waffle House, Frailey's soft pretzel's with melted cheese dip, chips & salsa, Roman Noodle Soup, and Mountian Dew. I can't live with out the Mountian Dew.
|
| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/27/2008 5:36:08 PM | YES! Tats are most definitely an addiction...one that I cannot "feed" enough! ;O)
I dunno what it is, really, that makes them such!? It's not the pain...but rather the idea that one man's up to the pain for such awesome results. It's definitely that each piece (for me, at least) is a small section of the roadmap of life.
But what could possibly be addicting at the Awful Waffle?! LOL ;O)

if everyone drove the speedlimit,,the attorneys would be outta work..
This is my kind of thinking........but then again , ever since I started driving when I was 16 I always said you don't drive faster then your guardian angel can fly, and well I just happen to share the same guardian angel as Mario Andretti !

| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/28/2008 11:37:50 AM | | I think my biggest addiction is people, I love being around lots of people and just people watching. Its very fascinating to me to see how everyone looks so very different. All sizes , shapes and looks. I can people watch all day long. Sometimes i go to the mall, buy me a pop and sit on the bench in the most traveled area in the mall and watch people going by for hours. That may sound kinda crazy but it sure is fun. LOL | |
|
| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/28/2008 11:54:27 AM | George, where are you from that you call it "pop?" LOL
I do similar...it is my main attraction to the casinos...to people watch! You can really pass time reading people! :O)
JacksonGuitars...we do Slingers or Denny's for that! At least their food is...well...edible! LOL

| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/28/2008 11:58:47 AM | | kat! im actually from Ft Lauderddale Beach, Fla. And i second that on the casinos thats another good place to people watch too. LOL | |
|
| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/28/2008 12:07:42 PM | I did not know Floridians (Florida-ans??) called it POP!? LOL
When I moved to Cincinnati from St. Louis as a child, we went into a skating rink and asked them, "What kind of SODA do you carry?" They looked at us like we spoke a foreign language, so we were like, "You know...coke, pepsi...??" "OH...POP!" LOL
|
| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/28/2008 12:11:16 PM | | Actually I left when i was 17 and joined the air force , so for over 20 years i have been a lot of places, i dont know where i might have picked that up at. | |

|
| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/28/2008 7:53:34 PM | My addictions are Craigs List, Freecycle and Flea Markets (the last one credit to Dave for getting me hooked on them). And last but not least the inet and pof. | |
|
| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/30/2008 2:08:14 PM | my secret addiction that a pit boss got me hooked on is the Wizard of Oz slot machine at Ameristar. I love to take my coupons I get from the casino and play that machine for free. I dont spend very much of my own cash on it anymore.
I am not addicted but I can never turn it down: 1) black licorice 2) A frozen hurricane made with SoCo 3) an ice cold beer in the summer (frosted mug makes it heavenly) 4) BBQ/grilled foods
Things I am addicted to: watching DVD movies. I hate regular tv, hate commercials in the middle of the movie, so I watch movies. Lots of them. I am the gal on Tuesday mornings at Blockbuster getting there before noon to get the new releases.
|
| What Are YOUR Addictions? Posted: 5/30/2008 2:15:54 PM | Northern states it is POP
Southern states it is SODA
Ask me! Everytime my dad was relocated (every two years) we had to figure out what to call that bubbly stuff.
In Turkey, you need to ask for a COKE. Then they ask what flavor. They call pop/soda 'cokes', even orange sodas. (well, this is how it was when I was 15-16)
